These two pieces were built, and out of the shop I barely had time to get photos. 54” x16” long side table and 20”x20” end table for my client’s office. Both tables are made of highly figured cherry, and the side table has a curly maple back board .
Here’s a box I recently finished as a gift for a family member. Rather than being an exact reproduction of an original, it’s a concept of a 16th century carved box that may have been painted white in a later era and has aged with time. Dimensions are 21”wide x 13” deep x 9” tall.
Another 18th century wheelbarrow recently completed . Made of ash, hickory and pine with hand forged hardware. Linseed oil Falun red paint. Thanks as always to
Andrew De Lisle for the wheel work.
I’m very happy to have this cabinet wrapped up and delivered to the client. All of the casework is poplar with walnut trim details. The drawers are hand dovetailed and mounted to 200 lb rated slides , and they have hanging file bars. The whole idea behind this project was to create a piece that would incorporate the most dramatic grain figure and be a fully functional cabinet for legal files.
Just wrapped up this 18th Century style wheelbarrow 2 weeks ago . It was a little outside of my normal furniture work, but a nice change of pace. It will end up being painted by the clients. Thanks to Andrew DeLisle for making the wheel.
Next one near done…”The Lost Paddle”
This is a satinwood table that came in for a cleaning, repair, and finish touch up. It had a lot of old wax, dirt and water rings. The lower section had several loose veneers that needed to be flattened and secured. The entire piece is French polished to bring out the beautiful figure in the satinwood.
I delivered this table to a great client on Friday. They had the base with a glass top but saw the lumber at a local mill and thought it would look great in their sun room. I have to agree, it’s some of the most highly figured maple I’ve seen. The clear finish over natural maple looks great in that room.
Just finished this new compass floorcloth, ready to ship and just roll out on your floor!

I wrapped up this walnut campaign table last month . The base is painted with custom mixed green General Finishes milk paint. The top is finished with several coats of marine oil varnish .
After photos of a refinish and new table leaves for this round table. Underneath the old orange laquer was some nice figured birch.
Finished up this early American style joint stool today. It’s one of many projects I’ve been working on for the past two months. White oak with an oil finish. I’ll have it with me at the MtVernon Artisan Market next weekend.
It’s for sale at a one time discounted price of $750 since the material was already on hand.

Some nice sunny pics of the chair after delivery to the client this past weekend.
More photos to come, but I figured I’d share these since the chair was wrapped up tonight. First project wrapped up since having shoulder surgery in March.
Happy Easter

Just got this repair back from the upholsterer and delivered to the customer. The rear supports for the cushion had broken out and made the chair unusable. I made a support frame and repaired the rear rail. The upholsterer webbed and covered the new frame and it’s good to go. Thanks to Joe Loiero for the upholstery work.
Finished up these replacement seats and top for a good friend and client. Stained oak with a spar varnish. Shout out to John Logan and Becky at the Logan Home Group of Keller Williams for this and other jobs.
I was finally able to get this beautiful walnut door that was repaired, and refinished this summer, hung for the client. Check out the before photos and you’ll see it’s quite a difference. I’m happy, the client loves it, can’t ask for a better Friday.
Finial completed and installed. Happy clients too!
This finial was wrapped up yesterday for a client who lost theirs to the movers. Lots of repairs coming in lately due to moving damage.
Walnut restoration door moving closer to stain and finish.
