Hate to start the weekend with bad news, but our main line to the splashpad at Broadway Park broke😭 It will be out of commission until we can get it repaired. So sorry for the inconvenience. Please visit our splashpad at Whites Branch Park, 5290 Western Center Blvd, to keep cool over the weekend.

Donate cases of bottled water at Haltom City Fire Station #1 from Monday, June 24th to Friday, June 28th during business hours (8am - 5pm).

The weather was way nicer last Friday (thank goodness) for our 13th Annual Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament. We had such an awesome time and are extremely grateful to our sponsors Perdue Brandon Attorney at Law, Fort Worth Civil Constructors, Teague, Nall & Perkins, Kraftsman Play, and Frost Bank. Thanks for our sponsors and golfers, we were about to raise almost $4800 to support over 3 CLASSROOMS of students through RefreshBISD!

The Parks & Rec Advisory Board hosted an awesome event at Buffalo Ridge Park this past Saturday. Our superstar nature expert, Jenna Shelton, spear-headed the event - hosting a nature scavenger hunt, dino dig, fossil play and education, and an awesome craft using things found in the scavenger hunt. We had about 75 show up and even had a family all the way from Germany stop by! If you missed it, stay tuned! The Park Board is busy planning their next event.

We're on! See you at 10am (bring a raincoat just in case😉)!
