So because CVYA'S Fall program is not gaining much interest. I will be taking my knowledge and experience with youth sports programs and teaming up with LA Sports Club. I will become a coach for the upcoming soccer program running from 9/9 to 10/28. Saturday nights under the lights from 7-9 pm at Veterans Stadium in Lackawanna, NY.
CVYA'S youth sports program is looking to start back up as of Tuesday, September 12th. The program will be for boys and girls ages 10-17 years old. Not sure what sport we will do possibly flag football at Orchard Acres Park. We will do skill development and game play from 4 pm to @ 6 pm. If your child is interested please email me: [email protected].
This program is taking a temporary break until the fall. Most of the members of this group have very busy schedules this summer and have resulted in very minimal number of kids coming. Not enough to run any sports programs. Looking forward to starting back up in September. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer!
I am running a youth sports program on 7/11 & 7/18 for boys and girls ages 10-17. For more details email me at [email protected].
So I know starting the end of July with Kingdom Bound and going through most of August with the Eden Corn Festival and Erie County Fair peoples schedules are going to get even busier. So with that said I am going to run CVYA'S youth sports program for two more weeks 7/11 (4:30- 7 pm) and 7/18 (4:00-6:30 pm). If there is enough interest I was going to run a flag football clinic. Boys and girls 10-17 yrs old at Orchard Acres Park.
Email me [email protected] for more details. After the 18th unless there is interest in continuing I am going to shut down program till September. Thank you and God Bless!
* Today wasn't successful but i figured with holiday nobody was coming* So CVYA'S youth sports program will be at Orchard Acres Park at the end of Lynwood Ave in Orchard Park tomorrow Tuesday(7/4). We will be there starting at 11 am. If interested please text me 716-697-6659.
Thank you and God Bless !

CVYA'S program will be at Orchard Acres Park tomorrow starting at 4 pm. Not sure what kind of turnout we will have because there is rain in the forecast!
I need ideas to draw families in during June to August. I know many families have vacations and multiple activities going on during the summer months. If interest in this program remains low I might have to put in on pause till September.
There will be no CVYA program this Tuesday 6/20. I am on vacation this week.
"Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you. Don't curse them; pray that God will bless them. Be happy with those who are happy, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don't think you know it all!
Romans 12:9-16
So until our numbers increase CVYA Sports program will be held at Orchard Acres Park from 4-7 pm every Tuesdays unless otherwise noted. If you are interested in becoming a member of this program and would like more details please email me at [email protected].
Thank you and God Bless!
We had a decent turnout for the first week. But ended at @ 6 pm because of the heat. Looking forward to next week.

The vision for this program started 9 years ago after being an active member of my church volunteering for Sunday school and also planning events like Harvest fest, the Easter Egg Hunt and VBS. I decided to go back to college and I got a certificate in Christian Ministries from Liberty University. Then in 2015 I felt called to start a sports outreach through my church and I utilized a program called Upward Sports but then my pastor introduced me to Russ Kingsbury who has run a youth sports program in Buffalo since 1991 called Youth Advantage. I teamed up with him and for 7 years starting in 2016 I became the League Commissioner for Youth Advantage Flag Football. While I was doing that program originally in the spring/summer (and then later we added a fall program) I also volunteered as a soccer coach (2018) for Lakeview, football coach for CSRA(2019-2020) and helped out with Youth Advantage's basketball program and Watermark/Revive Sports soccer program (2021-2022). I also went with Revive to Zambia in 7/22. Then before I left for Zambia I stepped down as the League Commissioner of Youth Advantage Flag and became the volunteer director of Hub Sports (2022-2023). But even with all of those opportunities and experiences I still felt like something was missing in my life I wanted a program that was a true sports outreach. A judgement free atmosphere where all kids felt welcome regardless of where they live: city or suburb. Where they attend school: public, private or home schooled. And I wanted to try to bring together kids of different Christian beliefs: Baptist, Wesleyan, Catholic, Lutheran, Evangelical and maybe even a few who believe in God but have their doubts and need brothers and sisters in Christ to lead them back by seeing peers who have that relationship with Jesus and need to see the Love and Grace being poured out by adults and other kids around them. This program is here for kids to learn basic skills in sports like basketball, soccer, kickball and flag football. This program isn't about set teams, wins/losses, and egos. It is about good sportsmanship, friendship and hearing the Good News. But most of all its about kids getting out of the house away from the TV or video games and spending time with other kids, being active and having fun! I am not doing this program to make a profit or pay my bills. If I could I would have this program be completely FREE. But I know that I need money to purchase or upgrade the sports equipment, purchase supplies like water, first aid kits including ice packs for those occasional bumps and bruises and at some point when I find a gym for the program, covering the rental costs. All money collected goes back to the program. This program is brand new and its going to have its ups and downs and this program may not be a good fit for every family. I just ask that everyone is patient and understanding as this program goes forward. I also ask any parents interested to please step up and volunteer. I need parents or older siblings who are willing to help coach or just be there to help supervise. Each week as this program grows we could have anywhere between 10-50 kids attending. I need volunteers to make this program successful. Whether it being coaching, doing devotions, helping with check in or other positions that will open up as we grow. If interested please email me: [email protected] and I can send you a registration form and information about the upcoming season.
Thank you and God Bless
