Idk how many times I have to say it but tape-ins are everything. The removal process is just that simple. Any extension install you receive is a process. Even the removal of it. It used to take me about an hour to take these down and now I can do it in 20-30 mins. Being properly educated on every step of this service from the initial install to the removal of it is important. Make sure whoever’s educating you is teaching you everything there is to know. Don’t let social media and other’s opinions deter you from offering or getting this service!! As always, be transparent with your clients. Give them the pros and cons. If they can handle the in salon & at home maintenance do the install! Focus on your business and what works for it!!
Tape-ins for the win!! There’s been a huge uproar over whether we like tape-ins or not. I absolutely love tape-ins and the versatility it provides. But just like any other extension service IT’S NOT FOR EVERYONE. Make sure you consult with a trained stylist that will be transparent with you about the pros and cons of having them. I always start with asking my clients what their lifestyle is like and will maintenance be a hassle for them inside and out of the salon.
