Bow Lake Recap & TOY / LOY

The season's final event was at Bow Lake, capping off the year with a morning chill that transitioned into a warm, calm day, perfect for the 7 teams that came out to compete. The fishing proved tough, with the lake's bass playing hard to get, but the spirit of competition was alive and well.

Here’s how the top teams stacked up after a day of fishing:

1st Place: Derek and Walter locked in the win with 14lbs 10oz.

2nd Place: Kelcey, going at it alone, not only secured second place but also landed the tournament's lunker bass at 4lbs 13oz, making his total catch 12lbs 7oz. Solid work, Kelcey!

3rd Place: Bruce and Joe took third, ending their season with a strong finish. Good job on keeping the pressure all the way through! 9lbs 6oz.

Team of the Year: Congratulations to Kelcey and John for clinching the Team of the Year title with a total weight of 120 lbs 12 oz. Your consistent performance throughout the year, always bringing in solid catches without faltering, is truly an amazing achievement.

Lunker of the Year: A big round of applause for Daren and Josh for securing the Lunker of the Year with an impressive 7lbs 1oz catch. This is a remarkable accomplishment and showcases some top-tier fishing skills!

Thanks to everyone who fished this season; your participation made each tournament memorable.

Winnisquam Lake Recap: The second-to-last tournament of our season is in the books, and what a day it was out on the water!

The day was marked by some nice catches, particularly in the smallmouth category, where three teams reeled in big fish weighing over 4 pounds. But when all was weighed and done, one team surged ahead, leaving the competition in their wake with an impressive margin.

1st Place: A massive round of applause for Ryan and his cousin, who absolutely demolished the field with a total weight of 16lbs 3oz. Their catch was highlighted by a hefty smallmouth that weighed in at 4lbs 14oz taking lunker!

2nd Place: Derek and Walter with 13lbs 1oz.

3rd Place: Kelcey and John clinched the third spot. Even without that elusive fifth keeper, they pulled through with 12lbs 11oz. These two are making a strong case for Team of the Year. Keep it up!

Mark your calendars and prep your gear - our season finale is at Bow Lake on Sunday, October 6th.

See you all at Bow Lake!

Squam Lake Recap

What a wild ride on Squam Lake today! The weather threw a few curve balls at us - wind, waves, you name it. Fishing in the open was like trying to hit a bullseye on a bucking bronco. Still, our guys made the best of it, even if a few teams had a tough time tracking down the big ones. But hey, that's fishing for ya!

1st Place: Big congrats to Kelcey and John. They had a good day with 4 largemouth and 1 smallmouth. They also hooked the big one of the day, a lunker at 3lbs 14oz. Their total bag weighed 12lbs 10oz. Those boys know their stuff.

2nd Place: Bruce and Joe are on fire this season, clinching second with 2 largemouth and 3 smallmouth. Their catch tipped the scales at 11lbs 15oz.

3rd Place: Chris and Scott weren't far behind, bringing in 2 largemouth and 3 smallmouth. Their bag was just shy of the top spots at 11lbs 11oz. Solid work out there, guys!

Mark your calendars, Winnisquam Lake next on Sunday, September 22nd, for our second to last showdown of the season. Tight lines until then!

Sorry — no pictures, results will be posted in a couple of days.

First Place: Ryan and Bob took home the top prize with an impressive total weight of 16lbs 6oz. Although they didn't catch the lunker, their bag included a significant big fish, contributing to their victory. Congratulations to Ryan and Bob for their stellar performance!

Second Place: Bruce and Joe, who have been on fire this year, secured the second spot with a mix of 2 smallmouth and 3 largemouth bass, totaling 15lbs 9oz. Their consistent success this season is truly commendable. Great job, guys!

Third Place: Darren and Josh clinched third place and also took home the lunker award with a massive largemouth weighing 7lbs 1oz. Their total bag weighed in at 14lbs 11oz. Fantastic work, Darren and Josh!
