Winner winner! Jeremy brought home the win for Team GSD last night in the 2g at the Path Valley Speedway Park Summer Slam! This was Jeremys first Summer Slam feature win!

Bob Stough drove the 1g last night and started 12th in the feature. He was making his way up through to the top 10 and got caught up in another driver's "hard luck".

Going to turn these cars around and we will see everyone next weekend at Lincoln Speedway! Thank you to all who make this possible!

We traveled to Path Valley Speedway Park last night for the their First Responders Night. 29 Central PA Legends checked in to the track. Team GSD had Jeremy Ott in the 2g, Chad Earnst in the 1g, and Scott Montgomery was able to debut the 61.
Feature time had the 2g starting 3rd, 1g starting 8th, and the 61 starting 20th. After a few late race cautions, and some close and tight racing, Jeremy finished 3rd, Chad finished 7th, and Scott finished 16th. Overall a great night for the team! 🏁

Pastor Dave Miller and Ministry Motorsports are bringing the Thunder and Lightning Classic to Lincoln Speedway! The race will pay $1,000 to win, $500 for 2nd, and at least $100 to start!

Additional bonuses include:

- Non-Qualifiers Race will payout to everyone. Positions will be paid via parts vouchers compliments of Ministry Motorsports with help of CPR for Your Legend.

It was a great night at BAPS Motor Speedway this past Saturday for kids night! The track did an amazing job putting everything together for the fans! It was so nice seeing everyone have a great time ans enjoy all the activities.

As for racing, it was a "start-them-all" feature only. Scott started p2 in the 3g, even led a few laps, and finished 6th, tying his career best finish! Mike started p15 in the 1g and finished 19th!

A great night overall! ... and just to clear any confusion, Scott and Mike are not the father-son racing team duo that was asked a few times this weekend. Just great teammates 😄

Weekend recap for Team GSD

Friday night Chad made the trip to Clinton Clinton County Speedway in the 1G. Started 15th in the feature and after some fight with the car, and keeping the nose clean, was able to bring it home 6th.
Saturday night the team traveled to Path Valley Speedway Park. Scott drove the 3G and Chad was back in the 1G. Both cars were in the same heat, starting p4 (3G) and p8 (1G). 1G qualified to the feeature, 3G continued on to the B-main where he finished 2nd! Feature time found us starting p15 (1G) and p23 (3G). Unfortunately the race raced was called with 9 laps to go due to the weather. 1G finished 12th and 3G finished 23rd (DNF) after having to pull of.

What a great night of racing for the team! Jeremy Ott drove the wheels off the #2 car, parking it in victory lane! Chad Earnst had a hell of a run himself, running upfront all night and finished 5th. Josh Schrum had a bit of a rough start in heat but ended up passing a bunch of cars in the feature coming home 15th. Very proud of you all that bring everything together to make this happen.

🏁Weekend Recap🏁

The team traveled to Wi******er VA Speedway on Saturday to run with the Central PA Legends. 29 cars were registered. Chad drove the 3g and Josh made his Wi******er debut in the 1g! Josh started 7th in the second heat and worked his way to 4th. Chad started 1st but unfortunately spun due to contact from behind. A few laps later, was going for a pass on the outside, but the hole closed up, resulting in contact with the other car. Ended the heat race with damage to the right front and a DNF.
Chad, Josh, and Shaun were able to get the car back together and ready for the feature. Josh started 14th and Chad 23rd. Through a long feature on a slick track, the boys were able to finish 8th (1g) and 12th (3g)!

Saturday the team was at BAPS Motor Speedway with Scott behind the wheel of the 3g. Started 5th in the first heat and crossed the checkers with a p3 finish! Mother nature ended up with the win for the night though when a storm came through and the track had to make the tough call to cancel the remainder of the program.

Two top ten finishes at Big Diamond Speedway last night! Great job team!

What a night! After two rain delays, BAPS Motor Speedway was determined to get the show in and did an amazing job getting the track run back in for us! Thank you to all the track staff for their hard work last night! We truly appreciate all you do for us!
35 cars signed in which originally gave us 4 heats, but after the delays, program was changed to timed hot laps, top 16 invert, and a "Start-them-all" feature. Scott was in the 3G and timed 10th quick and Mike was in the 1G (for only his third time racing on dirt and first night in this car) and timed 29th.
Feature time brought some hard, close racing. Scott held his ground with some of the series best on a fast track! When the checkered dropped, he brought home an 11th place finish, we believe his best finish to date! Mike started near the rear and was flirting with the top 20 until he spun to miss a multi-car wreck in front of him. He regrouped and was able to finish the race getting back up to 22nd. Very proud of our drivers for a solid night and bringing the cars home in one piece. Thanks for everyone who supports us! Plan is to be back Friday night at Big Diamond! 🤙🏁

We had our first double header weekend for the 2023 season. Friday night the Central PA Legends were at Linda's Speedway. 20 drivers registered including Jeremy Ott in the 2g. He qualified 4th quick, won his heat, and ended the night with a p3 finish in the feature!

Saturday night we were back at Path Valley Speedway Park. 41 cars checked in! Scott Montgomery was in the 3g and Jeremy Ott was back in the 2g. A late start to the grid after finding a steering issue caused Jeremy to start in the rear. He came back and won that heat! Scott finished 6th in his heat, moving him forward to the BMain. He started 5th in the B and found a line that worked! He made his way up to third and was running down the others but just ran out of laps. Finished p3. Feature time Jeremy started on the pole and brought home the first 2023 feature win for Team GSD!

Jeremy was also running his thunder car and finished 2nd in his feature!

Our set-up guru Chad Earnst had his late model at Path Valley last night as well! He finished 2nd in his heat! He had a tough break in the feature when he was running third and made contact with another car, leaving him with a flat left rear, ending his night.

What a night! The team took the 1G and 3G to BAPS Motor Speedway last night for our fourth scheduled race of the 2023 season with the Central PA Legends . Josh Schrum started 5th in heat one and was able to finish 2nd. Scott Montgomery started 2nd in the third heat. There were a lot of fast cars in this race and Scott was able to qualify for the feature during a drag race coming to the checkered flag! Feature time 1G started 6th and 3G started 19th. A lot of close, hard racing made for an edge of your seat race! We ended up with our best finishes yet for the season. Josh finished p5 and Scott finished p13! So proud of the team for a great night! Way to keep digging!

Team GSD is back in action this evening at Path Valley Speedway Park! Jeremy Ott is driving the 1g and Josh Schrum is in the 2g. 30 cars signed in tonight giving us 3 heat races. Josh started on the pole in heat #2 and won that race. Jeremy was scheduled to start P8 in heat #3, but ended up starting P6. Jeremy won his heat as well!! Best of luck to the team for a successful feature race! 🏁

Spent the weekend attending the VRG Turkey Bowl at Summit Point Motorsports Park and all we can day is "WOW"!! This was one heck of an experience and are excited to go back for 2022 with more Central PA teams! We had some ups and downs, but all in all, it was a great trip. Thanks to everyone who supported us both from the track and at home!
