A CARDINAL PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for my teammates. My
brothers and I pray that in the heat of the game we would have each others’ backs and
we would not come down hard on one
another.
If one of us misses a blocking assignment,
or fumbles the football or throws
an interception, Lord, give us grace to encourage our teammate and to lift him up.
Most importantly Lord, we come before you
to ask for Your protection and guidance as
we step out onto the field. We pray for Your
hand of safety to be over every one of us
so that no player will be injured.
Finally, we ask for your blessing on all those who love this game, players, coaches and fans.
In Jesus name we pray!
Amen
Today's GAMEDAY Cardinal fans! Go out and support our Harlingen Cardinals as they face SA Harlan in the second round of the playoffs at Cabaniss Sports Complex, Corpus Christi TX!
