to Easter 2022 when I made “White Rabbit Chili” and told my family it was chicken 😂. Rabbit is a healthy, sustainable, and underutilized source of protein. Rabbit is also a good source for iron, B12, and Niacin.

The weekend after an cook-off is always time for reflection. I get to figure out what I did right, what I did wrong, and how I can improve my next pot of chili. My homestyle had too much salt and needed to be thinned out. My verde didn’t have enough salt and needed more up front heat. They were still bangin, but there is definitely room for improvement.

August is “National Sandwich Month”, so I wanted to make a soup to celebrate my favorite sandwich, The Cuban. What sandwich would you like to see be made into a soup or stew?
