A message from our colleagues: "...due to unforeseen circumstances, we must postpone our highly anticipated Women in STEM conference. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment and inconvenience it may cause... We are actively working to secure a new date that will allow us to deliver an exceptional experience for all participants."

While we were excited to present in June, we're excited and can't wait to continue to support our colleagues in the near future! Stay tuned for updates!

"Never give up. It's never too late, to change your life." That's one quote my high schoolers resonated with this year. Through music, we are given the opportunity to express our true selves, grow into who we dream to be, and share it with the world in a beautiful way. We are so thankful to provide people of all ages the chance to learn new and healthy ways to cope, reflect, and communicate what often remains hidden. Rediscover your voice with Melodic Goals. 🎶

Thanks again so much for having us!

We are SO grateful to have had the opportunity to present at this year's New England Region American Music Therapy Association conference. We partnered with Progressions Music Therapy Services and The Michael Bolton Charities, Inc. to make this all happen. Our presentation on the Beyond Trauma: Youth Music Therapy programs located in both New London and New Haven Connecticut provided opportunities for other professionals to peek into the nature of our work as well as discuss ways in which we, as professional healthcare and wellness providers, could begin or continue their work with youth and communities in need of additional support. We are also so thankful to have made some many new connections this weekend and can't wait to collaborate with you all in the future!

We had to finish our celebration with a classic:

Bill Withers with "Lean On Me" (1972)

Quoted Text:
“Lean on me
When you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on”

We hope you got to celebrate Black History Month through music with us! Continue to celebrate Black artists this month and every month! ❤️💛💚

Today, Mellany presented at a school to teach students about the music therapy profession! Students were engaged and participated in music-centered experientials to learn more about what a music therapy session may look like in a group setting.

As a team that grew up in New Britain and Hartford, we aim to give back to the communities that helped shape us into the people we are today! Special thanks to the familiar and new faces that helped make this day happen!

Happy Monday! And have a wonderful week!

(Had to repost to blur a logo! Gotta keep the students safe!)
