I recently had the opportunity to co-create with an incredibly kind, creative human being, a young man in his teenage years. Just a beautiful human being. This piece of original art was channeled by a young artist by the name of M.K. after hearing my song, "A Place Amongst the Stars."

Hello! My name is M.K., and I am a beginner artist. I really got into painting just a few years ago, and I would not be where I am today without years of practice. However when it comes to making art, I really like to express whatever I feel in the moment! That is why I love to do commission pieces for musical artists, because I can really bring the feeling of sound onto paper. For "A Place Amongst the Stars," I was immediately reminded of a scene in the Pacific Northwest, someplace with mountains and trees. But I also got the impression of modern life taking over, where I added the stores and lights.

However, there are some other styles I like to work with! Within the past month, I have been revisiting pen-based anatomy sketches. I have also been designing more characters and stories in my free time. I also like to make art based on different aesthetics, like ethereal watercolor paintings, or elegant Art-Nouveau portraits! And I found that making an art collage is one of the most creative ways to show a feeling. I like to do this by designing a character or main art piece, and then detailing it with similar styles things, like random notebook pages or pressed flowers! But for the most part, it is important to draw whatever you feel is right in the moment.
