WOW. We just want to say a huge THANK YOU. To those who sponsored, to those who golfed, to those that helped behind the scenes. I’m speechless. Our first golf tournament was such a success and it truly shows how the community of Hastings comes together to reach a goal. A huge thank you to Elks for hosting and thanks to Big Dallys Deli for supplying lunches for everyone. Again I am just absolutely humbled and blessed to say that we can accomplish so many things if we come together as a community.
We hope everyone had a great time and we will post pictures of the progress that is yet to come.

⭐️SPOTLIGHT⭐️
First and foremost let me introduce our dietary manager Savannah. Savannah had done a great job with ensuring our residents are getting quality meals and has been a great addition to our leadership team. Savannah is holding our resident choice meal of March. Every month our residents get to choose a meal and this month was fresh Runzas, onion rings, ice cream, and deviled eggs. Thank you to our local Runza Restaurants for supplying our runzas for this meal!!

Wishing everyone a happy and safe St Patrick’s day! We had Sparkling green mimosas, green apple wine coolers, and busch light. ☘️

In strong efforts to upgrade our courtyard area we are hosting a Golf Tournament May 10 2024

Over the 100 and some years that Good Samaritan Society has been open, we’ve gotten the opportunity to get work side by side with many amazing nurses. We were given these frames and old nurses hat as memorabilia.
As National Nursing Week is coming up in a couple months, we remember all of the nurses that served or are currently serving our residents. And as the saying goes..
“In Christ’s love, everyone is someone”

Unfortunately we have to cancel our open trick or treating. We hope everyone has the 🍬sweetest🍬 halloween possible and we are so sorry to cancel on such short notice.

As we prepare for sp🎃🎃ky season, we are accepting donations for individually wrapped candy to pass out. Grandmas and Grandpas LOVE handing out candy, we want to make sure we have more than enough to pass out to all of the kiddos that come see us on Halloween! This box will be out until October 30th. it is in the foyer on the 100 Ave. If the bags don’t fit in the box, setting them under the table or call and we will gladly come get them. 🙂

On wednesdays we wear pink. 😊
In honor of breast cancer awareness month, staff and residents are encouraged to wear pink on wednesdays for the month of October.

We’re in a campus wide competition- 26 different groups have chosen poles across campus to decortate for fall. Take the time to come cruise around campus and take a look at all of the cool creations! 🍁

We will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Hastings on September 23rd. We will post the location of our table the day of the event. Stop by and see us for some information on rehab, long term care, and many other things that we have to offer to the community!
