I don’t know where this one is taking me.

Trying something different.

Another piece where I didn’t know when to stop.

I am afraid that I will overwork this one, so I am done.

Being diagnosed with bipolar presents a significant challenge(s) in life. Primarily the stigma that comes with this diagnosis. I see life through a damaged lens. My brain does operate the way a healthy mind does. This piece is a representation of my brain. We don’t ask for understanding. We just ask to be treated with respect as humans. If society would not stigmatize mental illness many of our brothers and sisters would die by their own hands. Also, we certainly do not need to become doused with toxic positivity.

I never know where these pieces will take me.

Still working on it.

Trying something new. I don’t have a small brush, so I am using a spoon. Gotta improvise.

A hot mess.

I feel as if I overworked this piece, but I am working on quitting while I am ahead.
