Playing with photo transfer mediums with an inkjet printer!

Two tried and true methods used here:
-Image printed on printer paper, chalk paint base painted on wood, and the use of mod podge. (Reverse transfer method)
- & the other, image printed directly to a wax transfer sheet and pressed directly onto the wood.

🖌Next I will test a new method with Polycrylic!!

✔This shows how you can still do photo transfers without a laser printer!!

-An inkjet printer can still do the job, but I may ask Santa for a Laser printer this year! 🎅

➡️The idea is that you put fine steel wool in white vinegar, the iron reacts with the acetic acid to form an iron acetate solution; you then paint this on the wood where the iron acetate reacts with naturally occurring tannins (or introduced by way of a previous application of a tannin-rich solution, such as black tea) in the wood, yielding iron tannates, which are dark-colored, thus staining the wood.
