The 1st of event of 2025 season is going to be upon us before we know it.

The Nevada region had tremendous support last season with this season looking to be even better.

Last season this region averaged 47 teams at each event over 7 events.

In the last event of the season one team took home $17,500.

So far, for the 2025 season I have sponsor money to cover the following awards.

1st Place Team of the Year $10,000
Biggest Bas of the Year $2,500
Biggest Bag of the Year $2,500
First Out of the Money $250 (x 7 events $1,750)
Smallest 5 fish Limit $250 (x 7 events $1,750)
Largest Largemouth Limit $250 (x 7 events $1,750)

I have also mentioned that we would be paying $5,000 for 1st place (min 50 teams) for each of the 7 events.

There will be an off limits period Monday- Thursday before each event!

I am currently looking for a few more sponsors to help out with the 2025 season. 100% of all sponsor money is paid back to the anglers.

12. Pre-Fishing/Off Limit Times: Off limits for BOTH LAKES begins on Sunday, 23 February 2025 @ 4PM. Official practice is the 5th to the 7th of March, 2025 daily, 6AM-3PM with one restriction. Lake Mead is off limits to all teams on the 7th. This will allow for each lake to have one day without Dash teams on it before the event. Any team reported to the Dash staff with sufficient proof in violation of this rule, will be DQ from the event, and no refund for entry shall be issued.

As posted, top ten teams will go out first and come in last (130PM). Regardless of your chances of winning TOY, you have earned that!

Boats 5-10: Come weigh in as soon as you get in, **in any order.**

Top 4: (Boats 1-4): You will weigh in, **in reverse order** with the “10K Hot Seats” in play. (4-1) As soon as you weigh in, I will be able to tell you if you made it. If so, you will get photos of your fish in place on the stage, a member of the staff will take your fish, and you will take the hot seats.

Final Event Update

Saturday is going to be hot, and if it's as hot as it was this past Saturday, a 2pm weighin will be rough on the anglers and the fish.

New weighin will begin at 1:00 PM, with (3) 15 Minute flights.

We will be up top in the breezway for morning signups. I will be there 3:30 am for signups. If you want to save some time, you may Zelle me your entry fee to my cell phone number. I will text you back confirmation when recieved.

You will still need to come by and sign some paperwork, we all know the process.

Invite your friends and family to come out and watch the wieghin or come for the awards. There will be hotdogs, refreshments, chairs to sit, fans to keep some air moving.

Awards to begin at 4:00pm

Beginning with tournaments results from the day

Followed by the season ending awards, including cash and prizes totaling over $27k.

In response to recent comments made in regards to the last event of this year.

The decision to have the top 10 go out first and come in last is just part of our effort to build a great circuit for the anglers. Just like the decision I have made to pay back 100% of all sponsorship money to the anglers, instead of keeping a small percentage.

The mission I’ve have set out from my first event in 2021 has always been to provide anglers with the best paybacks and paying out more than 100% that gets paid in.

A big part of any tournament circuit is team retention, to have as many boats in the first event as the last event. We are hoping that bringing some suspense or added drama to this last event will attract more teams for future events.

If being fair about the draws were 100% your objective, why haven’t you made any objectives to the method of assigning flights throughout the year. As this was done on a first come first serve basis. Which is not fair, fair would be a random draw for every event.

There have been several decisions we have made this year that worked out well and some we have realized didn’t work. We are hoping this decision works out for us.

I do agree that this could have been a decision we should have announced earlier in the year which would have most likely squashed any negative feedback but we did not think of this idea until recently.

Both Wayne and I are continually trying to improve the product we present to the anglers and we can’t think of everything when we begin the season. We have learned many things this season which will only make future seasons even better.

I appreciate your comment and the fact you’re making a comment reflects that you do care and you want the best for everyone. Keep that passion!

Promo for the final event for this year below!

Please note the following for the 15th:

The top 10 teams will be in the first flight and return last. Boat numbers for the top ten will be in accordance with the current Team of the Year standings. So, with Ron and Matt in first place, they will be boat #1, Kyle and Garrett boat #2, Kevin and Dick boat #3, etc.

Flight 1 will not be altered if any of the top ten do not show. The first flight is the top ten and top ten only.

For weigh in, for this flight only, boats 6-10 may weigh-in in any order. The top 5 will be weighed in reverse order. 5-4-3-2-1. So, Ron and Matt will be the last team to weigh in. Going to be very hot, take care of your fish!!

We will have the “10K Hot Seats” in place for Team of the Year. If you take over 1st place, expect to do your pictures in place on “the stage”. We will then have someone to take your limit, release it, and return your bag.

Lastly, we will hold the final awards at the top of the hill under the covered area. There will be chairs, food and beverages. Jason and I ask all of you to be patient. As you know we will have to move everything following weigh back up top. We are anticipating the final flight in at 230 so the awards should be no later than 5.

Weigh-in will begin at 2pm.

Event Awards and Season Ending Awards will be held underneath the Patio to the North side of the Main Building at the top of the old launch ramp.

There will be chairs for everyone to relax while waiting for the staff to tally up the final results.

We will have ice chests full of beverages, hot dogs, hamburgers from the grill.

Come out and support your favorite team and find out who will take home the $10,000 Team of the Year prize.

We will also be giving away a Pro and AAA entry to this years US Open on Lake Mohave.
