Days 10, 11, 12, and 13 on the 1989 Chevy c1500 shop build. She’s about ready for the body shop.

A bit of work we’ve been doin. 1969 Chevy Stepside getting the engine bay freshened up and a new 350.

What an awesome day for me today. I got both my boys out here installing this lift kit with me. I am truly blessed to have the amount of work I have for just starting a business, even more blessed that my boys want to be here with me.

Man everybody. Today was one of the best days of my life. You guys see that handsome young man in the gray sweater? He’s the future co-owner of VSK (he has a sister) now here’s the happy part. He hasn’t been interested in working on cars AT ALL!!! Today he got up at 7 with me, WILLINGLY WENT TO WORK WITH ME, and pulled out his first motor in his life. And he wants to go back tomorrow. ❤️❤️

Motors out. Tearing down the new motor as I type. Mo got it in tough today. And I’d like everybody to meet VSK’s new apprentice Erick. You guys will be seeing a lot of him. More pics to come as the night goes on.

Started this motor swap 30 minutes ago. Watch the magic. Gonna challenge myself like hell today. 1 day swap.

Customer wanted satin black rims. So customer got satin black rims. Prepped, primered, and painted.

Up early today. Catch me to get those brakes done. I’m all over the city today. Starting at MLK and the 95 in a couple hours. Then we back to hendo to pick up a motor swap. Then we back to the east side to finish a swap. Then out to summerlin for a brake job. I’ve got enough room for at least 2 miore

Man this had to be the most uncooperative tune up I have ever done. It took 3 and a half hours just to do the plugs and coil packs. Every coil pack broke. And every spark plug was rusted in. But it got done. Changed the oil and filter and then had to leave. Gonna finish the rest tomorrow.
OH.... DID I MENTION THE CUSTOMER WAS ECSTATIC ABOUT HOW GOOD THE CAR RAN!

Variable timing solenoid changed out on a 2010 Chevy impala v6. Automatically took care of engine code P0011. Also knocked out the oil and filter change, as well as the oil and filter on their Tahoe. Good day today.

Knocked out a mass air flow sensor and replaced a passenger side mirror for a repeat customer yesterday, repeats are my favorite kind of customer. Did a oil change, fluid top off, cold air intake filter cleaning and free 25 point inspection for my other type of favorite customer: The first time customer. BUT LAST NIGHT I GOT MY ALL TIME FAVORITE KIND OF CUSTOMER. A young man wanting to do an engine swap, not knowing how to, and wanting to learn. I did the majority of the work, but I had to teach him. We continue working on it tonight.
