On August 21 and August 27, Hicksville Public Schools welcomed 20 new faculty members for the 2024-25 school year for two days of learning and training before they began their careers with the district.

Big shoutout to Landon Luttrell, one of 2024’s Top 10 Boys Long Island High School Players to Watch! As an Outside Hitter for Hicksville High School, Class of 2027, Landon is an offensive powerhouse with unmatched agility and skill.
We welcomed back our students and staff today for the first day of school! It was a great start to a year full of learning, growth, and new experiences. Here's to a fantastic school year ahead!

As the new school year begins, we're excited to have the Nassau County Police visiting our schools to welcome back students, parents, and faculty! They'll also share crucial safety info with parents. Check out the attached flyer for details on their PREVENT and PREPARE programs.

This school year, we welcome three new administrators: Dr. Catherine Carella-Dean, ELA, Reading &Library Supervisor; Dr. Teresa McGrath, Interim Science, Social Studies, Home & Careers Supervisor; and Christopher Uccellini, Principal at Lee Avenue.

Band camp last week was an absolute blast! 🎶 From perfect weather to energetic rehearsals, our students made the most of every moment. The hard work, laughter, and team spirit were unmatched. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings!

From morning to night, the Hicksville Marching Band is working hard (and having fun) to prepare for next year's season. They enjoyed Pride Day, Tropical Day and Wear Pink Day, and they are still going strong. Hard work pays off!

Our ESY Program is celebrating Blue Day and the International Day of Friendship! We love the smiles!!!
The Olympics came to the ESY Program. Our students represented their countries from all over the world, passed torches, and scored gold! Great job, everyone! It was such a beautiful display of sportsmanship and camaraderie!
