Natural fiber, plant dyed, and hand-woven clothing from the Usaburo Sato collection will be displayed and sold. Usaato clothing is made from cotton, h**p, and silk fabrics woven and sewn in farming villages in Laos and Chiang Mai, Thailand.
It is Usaato's mission to support sustainable agriculture, respect their village traditions, and bring a healthy economy and quality life to these villages.

Usato Designer : Usaburo Sato
After working as a designer for a Japanese company, Usaburo went to Europe and the U.S. to work in the creation and production of trend-setting fashions and wedding dresses.
In 1994, he set off to travel the world in search of a genuine material through which the energy of Life could be felt, and in 1996 he arrived in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Usaburo continues to design and create clothing utilizing the traditional threads and fabrics woven and dyed by ethnic minority peoples in Thailand.
Born in Minamifurano of Hokkaido, Japan.

さとう うさぶろう：「うさと」デザイナー。日本で企業デザイナーを経験したのち、ベルギーの首都ブリュッセルでオートクチュール(高級注文服)の創作に携わる。1994年からエネルギーの高い布を求めてアジア諸国を行脚、1996年、タイのチェンマイに拠点を移し、「いのちの服」づくりに着手。手つむぎ、手織り、天然染めの布に“宇宙の法則”をデザインし、自然をまとうような心地よい服を誕生させる。「うさとジャパン」代表。
