I wanted to hop on here and introduce myself, as I realize I haven’t done that before. A face to the name may make you all feel more comfortable with who provides your services 😊

My name is Kainoe and I am from Hawaii island. I reside in Kaʻūmana and am a mama to two wonderful keiki. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in journalism and media communications at Colorado State University and I am currently working on my master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. I have a full-time job at a healthcare system where I oversee our community relations department. I enjoy doing jiu jitsu and other combat sports such as boxing and wrestling. I’ve been a wrestler for over 10 years.

I am passionate about serving our community and I enjoy all things beauty. That’s what got me to take a certification class in applying lash extensions and hyaluron pen for needle-free lip filler. I wanted to be able to provide services for our wāhine community that provides feelings of happiness, joy and self-confidence. Lashes can change the way an individual looks and feels, and it can bring out features you never thought would be of prominence. I love my clients and want to make YOU happy with your lashes!

I provide classic lash sets (1 natural lash to one extension), hybrid lash sets (1 natural lash to 1-3 extensions), full volume lash sets (1 natural lash to 5-8 extensions), mega volume lash sets (1 natural lash to 10-16 extensions).

“What lash length should I get?”

My suggestion is that lash length should be no more than 3 mm - 5 mm longer than your natural lash with the diameter of your extensions as close as possible to the diameter of your natural lash.

The correct answer is B. When applying lash extensions, it is never a one-size fits all. As a lash technician, I use multiple lengths throughout an eyelash extension application depending on the individuals eye shape, lash length and lash health. There are many factors to consider when applying eyelash extensions on the client. One thing I never do is start off long on the inner corner. That can cause irritation to the client’s eyes as the lashes may touch the eyelid. On an average client, I use between 5-7 eyelash lengths to complete a full set 🥰
