Thank you for making 2023 our most impactful year to date! The need in MA is great, but we won’t stop working to bring period dignity to everyone! Passing the I AM bill is our wish for 2024….write your Representatives and let them know why YOU want period product access in schools, shelters and prisons. Period Supplies are School Supplies
Our spring needs assessment found that 92% of MA schools were unable to meet the needs of menstruating students. This is unacceptable because 1 in 4 students is also living with Period Poverty. Thank you to Unicorn for understanding how critical it is for kids to be able to learn with dignity. We are incredibly grateful for their years of partnership! Providing organic, high quality products in schools adds an additional layer of impact to our work. Now, let’s pass the I AM Bill in MA to make sure every student in the Commonwealth is able to access their education while menstruating. PERIOD SUPPLIES ARE SCHOOL SUPPLIES! Testimony for the I AM bill will be heard on Tuesday. I AM is the long term solution for MA. Thank you to Senator O’Connor for taking immediate action to allocate $500,000 to directly benefit MA residents while we wait for the I AM bill to pass. We are hopeful House members of the Budget Conference Committee agree and vote yes to Senate Amendment 381 in the final version of the budget. Your support is making a difference in the lives of 700 individuals per month on the South Shore. (And the need is growing). Through you, we are assuring that this natural biological function isn’t keeping students out of the classroom or employees from work. Thank you for investing in the dignity of your neighbors!!
