I decided to spend Valentines giving love and support to women who are either on a Breast Cancer journey, or are survivors.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center is.
For the next 4 weeks they have an incredible program called Surviving Well.

Today was Yoga led by the super amazing Mollie Lane Jackson Erickson, and then nutritional coaching with 4 different dishes prepared and enjoyed.
It is every Wednesday for the next 4 weeks at the Lakeshore foundation.

I will be out of town next week but hope to volunteer again.
It has been such a blessing for me to give back and also be a p*er support for women on this journey.

So, for the first time with Assurance, my production put me in the top 10.

October 13th, 2022 was my last chemotherapy. My hair has gone from Sinead O’Connor to Pink. 😉😎
What never changed was my determination to help as many people as possible.
Today I am stronger than ever and even more determined to do just that!

I don’t know how to fully express how much this AMAZING WOMAN has blessed me from the very first moment I met her.

Every time I see her I think of one of my favorite mantras, and that is, “How far we travel in life matters far less than those we meet along the way.”

She is a 20 year breast cancer survivor. She gave me so much hope and encouragement on my journey, and still does. She also makes me laugh!

The last time I saw her in person she looked a little disappointed and then said, “I was really hoping your hair would be pink .” 😄

So I put some pink in my hair and made sure that I got to see her in person so she could enjoy it.
I’m also hoping that the NEXT time I see her SHE has pink hair!

And every time we say goodby she says, “Love you!” and it fills every fiber of my being with JOY! 🥰

Working past 9pm tonight has included…
🔹 Talking client off the “panic ladder”
🔹 Getting client Pre-Approved
🔹 Working on credit score improvement plan
🔹Analyzing offer client was given to find “scam”
🔹 Restructuring debts to make loan work

If I’m being honest, if my dog Clover is in my lap like this…I will crunch numbers, solve problems, and come up with loan solutions until the sun comes up.

So far today…
👩🏼‍💻 Double checked numbers for a client to see if they could purchase a home non-contingent of sale on current home.

🥣 Had breakfast

💒 Watched church from our sofa, cuddling with my husband, Chihuahua and cat.

😹 Laughed hysterically at pictures of Bo**er, who still has to breathe through her nose because of bo**er issues that we have been treating for over 2 years. (see photo…no, she is not on Co***ne. 🤪)

📲🏠 Spoke with a listing agent about my clients offer they made yesterday. Not wanting to jinx it, but hoping they will get good news soon. 🤞🏻🙏🏻

So this is officially a 50/50 Labor / Play Weekend. 😉👍🏻

This time last year I was in the middle of chemotherapy for breast cancer. I am so very lucky to have won that battle, because I know not everyone does.

So this year as college football season gets started, I am going to donate a portion of my commission from every closed loan throughout the SEC season to The Forge Breast Cancer Survior center. 💗
This organization supports women and their families during and after their cancer diagnosis and treatment.

YOU are my team, and all you need to do is recommend me to your friends or family members who are in need of a mortgage to purchase or refinance a home. THAT’S IT! 🗣️👍🏻

528 miles and 8 hours of driving for a 1 hour loan closing were all worth it for me to see this wonderful woman in person and give her a big hug!
