Full Job Description

We are looking for experienced swim coaches who have worked extensively with babies and infants to join our Swim Lessons Hawaii Team. Job duties will include teaching babies, infants and young children water safety skills, to get them more comfortable with basic swimming techniques such as floating, swimming, blowing bubbles, and putting their heads under water. Lessons will take place in the ocean as well as private pools and condo pools. Based on your schedule availability and skill level, we pair you up with the students.
Coaches can enjoy the benefits of setting their own schedules, design customized lesson plan for individual stuent and an earning potential of up to $40/hour.

Responsibilities:
* Communicate regularly with the office regarding students’ attendance, progress, and other relevant information
* Coordinate schedule with parents via email
* Perform introductory skill assessments for potential students and recommend appropriate lesson packages
* Design lesson plans for individual students
* Teach students swim skills appropriate to their level
* Show up to lessons on time
* Conduct lessons and communicate with parents and students in a professional manner

Swim Lessons Hawaii is a local business that was founded by a couple who realized that there are many people in Hawaii who do not know how to swim. Swimming is a very fundamental skill to have and we feel that people of all ages and walks of life should be given the opportunity to learn how to swim. As part of our team, you’ll be working alongside coaches of all backgrounds who share the same passion we do: teaching swimming and improving Hawaii’s water safety.
