Communicating with our bodies has become a lost art form. When quitting sugar it's important to take control and give your body a voice. In the past when a sweet treat was dispersed to quench any outburst... give your body a voice again. Ask it what it needs when it has a craving...
- Am I feeling okay?
- Am I stressed... tired... bored?
- Do I have a headache?
- Am I hungry? Am I Thirsty?
- Do I need an energy boost?
- Do I need a break?
Or... Do I really want a sweet treat?
And if so, is there a healthier alternative?
We all know cravings only last about 20-minutes so utilize each one as an opportunity to get to know yourself better. After a week of communicating, you will be surprised at how much better you are at predicting and planning for your body's needs.
If you're feeling out of sync with your body hypnotherapy is a great way to realign. I am currently booking sessions for the end of the month. Send me a message or visit internaldynamics.com
Surfing is one of the top ‘blue health’ activities meaning it utilizes water for therapeutic benefits. It's also classified as a 'vigorous' exercise by health experts. Some even refer to this activity as 'surfing therapy.'
If you aren't familiar, here are the top benefits of surfing:
❤️ Increased heart health through a full-body workout
🧠 Improves mental health and clears the mind through mindfulness and focus
🏄🏼♀️ Helps coordination, balance, and muscle strength
💪🏽 Low impact workout
😴 Improves sleep from regular cardio workouts
If you are familiar, tag your favorite surf buddy! This is your sign to paddle out.

And just like that, it all clicked.
💫
One moment to grab your attention and effectively communicate an idea that enhanced your motivations and changed your life. These "aha moments" catapult our lives onto entirely new trajectories. Some people may call these the spark of genius but others who zoomed out may find a trail of breadcrumbs that led you to that inspiring moment.
🤍
Whether you look up close or far away, while you're walking the path and finding your way it can be tough to wait for everything to click. Hypnotherapy is wonderful in helping get you there by utilizing the power of suggestion. As Erickson states on the last slide, ideas are repeated until the subconscious accepts them. Once the thought is accepted the trajectories of our lives change through action.
💫
If you're on a journey and need some support send me a message. I am currently booking one-on-one hypnotherapy sessions for this month.

The subconscious mind is on your side and is trying to help.
Through years of experience, the subconscious has learned to value one behavior over another. With practice, repetition, association, and newly accepted suggestions this can all change.
Hypnosis can help move this process along a lot quicker than going through the motions on your own.
Some tools hypnotherapists use include...
- Hypnodrama: going through the event in your mind
- Systematic Desensitization: reducing generalized stress and anxiety and replacing it with a preferred feeling
- Imagery: building up new images in the subconscious
There are hundreds if not thousands of applications for hypnosis.
If you're looking for a method to help the mind relieve stress, control cravings, or address chronic pain - then hypnotherapy is a valuable modality to consider. A hypnotherapist at Internal Dynamics will help you by using various techniques to access your subconscious mind and create new habits of thinking that best serve your goals.

Every turn you take will bring you somewhere new. You're the one in the driver's seat and can see all of the mirrors and feel the engine roaring beneath you. The car is made for the driver to drive, not for the passenger, and definitely not for the backseat. So let your dreams take flight without judgment. You're the one feeling the roaring engine of your heart and soul so take your turn and drive your path.

Are you a direct or indirect communicator?
If you knew the first prompt was also asking for their picture to be taken then you may be an indirect listener. You were able to read through the lines.
Indirect listeners prefer instructions to be indirect, permissive, and metaphoric.
Direct listeners prefer information to be direct, forceful, and authoritative.
Hypnotherapists use this information to craft the perfect suggestions to speak with your subconscious mind.

This self hypnosis technique is so easy and can be used anywhere. The more you use self hypnosis the easier it is to drop into state. Definitely something I teach my clients as it’s an important tool to have at your disposal.

Ohhh how things have changed. ✨ As I finish renovating my new office space… I reflect on how new and different everything feels. 🦋 In this picture, in my first office, I had just purchased my desk off of Craigslist and was obsessed with kombucha. ✨ I hadn’t even graduated college for clinical hypnotherapy. I hadn’t even hypnotized anyone. I didn’t even have a single client. ✨ All I had was a dream of running my private practice and helping people through hypnotherapy. ✨ And since then… my oh myyy has that dream come true. ✨ I graduated from college with honors and an award. I’ve trained thousands of hours with hundreds of client sessions. I’m even obsessed with tea and cacao now. ✨ Things have changed but one things the same… I’m still that silly happy girl inside. Enjoying the process with eyes set on the destination. 🤍 All I can say is things are happening fast and you’re all along for the ride. Thank you for being here. I’m grateful to share it with you. ✨Look out for my new office in a few weeks! 🤍 Anddd if you want to really see my new office… online zoom sessions are open for next month so start booking before they fill up. 🤍
Research on benefits of spirituality. 🤍 I’m finding where I fit in and research like this helps me think. Take a peak… do you agree? (Source at the bottom.)

Three tips for the aloha state of mind this week. 🌺☺️✨
1️⃣ Keep negative conversations short and too the point. Energy drainers don’t deserve your time and are only going to bring you down. If a conversation is necessary, keep it short and sweet.
2️⃣ Go for a walk outside and put your phone down. Practice tuning into the present moment by naming things you see and describing sounds. What’s the furthest thing you can hear? The closest? What’s the brightest thing you can see? The dullest? Play games like these to keep yourself engaged in the present moment.
3️⃣ When you wake up and are still laying in bed… Put your hand on your heart and say how grateful you are to be here. Appreciate yourself with a little hug... even if it’s just for a second! You woke up, are grateful, and got a hug… not only are you rewiring your brain to the positive but you’re having the first good moment of your day. No matter what happens nothing can change that.
✨What increased your happiness this week? Sending love for a happy week ahead. We got this! 🤍🤍🤍
If I told myself five years ago that I’d be an award-winning hypnotherapist… I probably would have to Google — “what’s a hypnotherapist.” That’s how fast your entire world can change when you follow your guidance. Since the day, years ago when my friend sent me a book, to enrolling in the Hypnosis Motivation Institute College of Hypnotherapy, to hundreds of sessions and thousands of training hours, to graduating with honors and receiving the director’s award… it’s been a journey. And now, this journey lead me to you. Thank you for being here as we continue to grow together. I can say from experience and client stories that hypnotherapy heals. All you have to do is be open to the possibilities and you too may not recognize who you are in five years. Cheers to our journeys and being open to the process. 🤍 ps. This is a delicious cup of cacao. My absolute favorite sweet treat. ✨
Is social media good or bad?
❔❔❔
Over the past three years, I’ve experimented with social media breaks to monitor its impact on my wellbeing. I believe we live in a world of duality where good and bad live side by side. There’s good in social media but oftentimes I find the strength of the bad overpowering. That’s why, just like a dietary cleanse, I take social media breaks from time to time.

Have you ever taken a social media break?

Doing a modified 75-Day Hard Challenge to start off the new year. 🥳 I am enjoying this because it’s doable and exactly how I want to structure my days. In 21-days habits are formed so in 75-days they are well established. Feel free to join me or create your own! Easiest with a buddy to keep you accountable. 💪🏼
Modifications: Removed the 1 gallon of water per day. Added 20-minutes of meditation. Also, changed 10-pages of reading to 10-minutes to work on my speed reading.
Better sleep is the number one response from clients after their first hypnotherapy session. 💕✨
Are you afraid of sharks? You’re not alone… Today, over 51% of the American public are terrified of sharks and another 38% say they are afraid to go into the ocean. The best way to overcome your fear? Jump in the ocean or swim with sharks. Another option? Hypnotherapy. 🦈💫

Losing memories can be difficult especially when it’s something important! In addition to helping elderly clients retain memory, hypnotherapists have been known to help locate important documents, car keys, and even passwords. 💫
Having the best week back in the office. It’s been especially fun convincing new clients I live in Hawaii despite my sweaters because it’s 65 degrees! 💕
Highly suggest the next time you see a rainbow to take a moment to watch it grow and disappear. They don’t last long and are a great way to get grounded.

The movie industry put some sinister ideas in our minds. Contrary to popular beliefs, hypnotherapy is not mind control. 💫
