I had a client ask me the other day how to forgive herself. The truth is, it's not a simple answer. It takes loving yourself intentionally, giving yourself grace and accepting you-all parts of you. And recognizing that we are more than our mistakes. Take things day by day and be sure to extend yourself the kindness that you deserve.
I want to encourage you to start a self love/intimacy journal where you can start a love letter to yourself and practice focusing on gratitude by writing about what you're grateful for, each and every day.
This will help you fall in love with yourself more and more and remind you of the love that you deserve.
Signs that you may be decreasing intimacy with your boo? It may be things that you do without even noticing.
✨You struggle to slow down when you get home, running in and doing all the things, leaving you unable to be mentally present.
✨You spend hours scrolling on social media and not engaging with your partner.
✨You don’t feel comfortable in your own skin anymore. You no longer put effort into getting dressed and going out. Y’all don’t date anymore.
These are all real feelings but it’s so important to be mindful of how life lifing is affecting you and your relationship. You’re definitely not alone and help is available; seek support.

Regular mental health check-ins with your partner aren’t just important, they’re vital. Men, here are 3 tips to manage your mental health:
