Covering and/or blending gray hair is a top priority for those of us who have it, however, receiving the same root touch up over and over each salon visit with no variation can get a little boring.

With spring here + summer coming up soon, adding a handful (or two haha) of highlights to a single process color service brightens + refreshes any base color.

HEAVY FULL HIGHLIGHTS + SHINE/SHIMMER TREATMENT + HAIRCUT (ft. BANGS lol)

This month, during consultations for blonding services I’ve seen a resurgence of requests for bright golden blonde over the usual ash…and I’m absolutely here for it haha.

Loved coming into work this morning to both a project and a client like this; client is well-versed in hair jargon + just a delight to be around.

New client with a perfect canvas (grown out natural root) for a neutral bright blonde! Used my go-to lightener BLONDME starting w 7 volume, toned w Natural + Icy with 6 vol.

✨Side Note✨ At the risk of jinxing myself, I feel very lucky when clients like the last 5-10 new ones I’ve had end up in my chair. Y’all are wonderful + really make a job I love even easier to show up for every day 🥺

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN! I love it when I have another hairdresser in my chair.

Vikings-inspired (Lagertha, really) braided hairstyle for this client’s birthday party. After a few clarifying shampoos, I shifted her tone with the perfect blonde purple shampoo + brownlights blue shampoo, followed by conditioner.
After a healthy trim, I threw in some beach waves w my favorite texturizing spray before sectioning for these braids.

SINGLE PROCESS COLOR (GRAY COVERAGE/ROOT TOUCH UP) + PARTIAL HIGHLIGHT + TONER + HAIRCUT: I’ve been on a posting hiatus bc I love doing hair more than I like writing these captions, but I am inspired by this morning’s bright blonde transformation 💫

Covered up client’s “natural highlight” (or gray roots lol) w/ ‘s new 10 minute permanent color. Went in w a heavy partial w my go to lightener blondme, finished w my special white toner.

Client uses top tier professional products at home, so this makes my job wayyyy easier!
