Easter egg quilting is my favorite. It’s subtle and is always fun when you look at the quilt a few months later and find another little hidden gem!

I wish I could control time….but since I can’t…let’s go back in time together, start with a finished quilt and go back with me. This was a very generous (king-sized minky) birthday gift for a sister (not mine. Yikes!) I need to step up my gift-giving game.

Give me a forest, swirling skies, and birds in flight. I love how minky looks 3-D. It’s like a quilt sculpture.
