Had some fun the last couple of weeks!

Joseph Corr retired from the Army after 22 years of service. Thank you Joseph Corr, for all you’ve done to serve this great nation. I’m happy to have tattooed you on such an important day, 9/11. Thank you to all of our veterans, first responders, and anyone who has served others.

Matthew Harger works for the Antioch Police Department and his partner, Thor, took a bullet and saved Matt and his crew while keeping the public safe. Thor lived up to his name and survived the incident. Eventually Thor retired and lived a long, and happy life with Matt. Dogs are not just man’s best friend, they are also our protectors. Thank you Matt for your service! You two were an unstoppable team!

Tricia Standiford is a 911 Dispatcher from Havre De Grace, Maryland. She helped save a life by giving instructions over the phone to a 911 caller. Such a great person! Dispatchers are the first step in the emergency response system!

Jess Drummond is a 6th Grade Language Arts/Theatre teacher for Cyfair ISD. She helps open the door for all her kid’s futures, by teaching them moral compass, in addition to her classroom subjects. Thank you for helping our future generations! No matter who you are, you’ve started off with the guidance from teacher.

John Meffert works for the Avalon Fire Department on Catalina Island in CA. While off-duty, a plane hit his car on the highway and crashed. He pulled the two passengers out of the flaming twisted metal. Both passengers survived! An American hero for sure!

Captain “Bear” Wilson is part of the Houston Fire Department’s HAZMAT Response Team. Thank you for keeping us safe in Houston!

Andrew Klein works for the Santa Monica Fire Department. He pulled a dead dog out of a house fire and performed 20 minutes of mouth to snout until he brought the dog back to life right in front of the owner’s eyes. The pup regularly visits him at the fire station. True meaning of “never give up”.

Jason Roy was a Houston Police Officer when he crashed and flipped his police unit while pursuing a suspect in a dangerous high speed chase. He was initially pronounced dead at the scene, but miraculously survived. He was paralyzed and was told he wouldn’t walk again. He is now walking! He’s also a motivational speaker, runs a charity, and has a book called From Zero To A 100. Thank you for everything you’ve done!

Firefighter Pedraza has served the citizens of Houston for 5 years. Thank you for what you do!
