I’m very excited to be resuming breast implant removal/explant surgery at my new office location in Chicago. I really enjoy working with the wonderful staff here at Chicago Aesthetic Surgery Institute.

I am so excited to announce my new Chicago location. I will be working alongside Dr. Stefan Szczerba at Chicago Aesthetic Surgery Institute. My practice will remain solely dedicated to proper en bloc removal of breast implants. I plan to start phone consultations next week with in office consultations starting May 14. Today was the last day operating in my Houston office and we ended the day with a beautiful enbloc removal of saline implants with super thin capsules. Looking forward to the next chapter in Chicago. I’ll be announcing my new office location in Chicago in the next couple of weeks.

This was a very interesting case. Original silicone implants placed above the muscle in 1987. In 2007 the silicone implants were exchanged for saline implants and placed below the muscle. Original capsules were never removed. I performed a complete capsulectomy of all 4 capsules.

Enbloc removal of implants with capsular contracture of the right implant. Notice the right implant looks smaller than the left with the capsule still on. This is due to capsular contracture which is scar tissue squeezing the implant. This can often lead to pain.

My office staff threw me a very nice birthday lunch today. I am very thankful and lucky to have such an amazing team to work with.

Enbloc removal of 20 year old textured, saline breast implants. Note the calcification on the shell of her implant. The implants are dark brown in color due to them being filled with saline combined with Betadine solution.
