Cooler temperatures are around the corner, and all this rain has been very welcome! We're about to start ramping up again for the fall, which is very exciting 🍂

Let your herbs go to flower 🌸 Pollinators love it!

Cooler temperatures are creeping in, and that means more time for my garden! Are y'all feeling the same?

Nothing like a whole bed of mint. This stuff grows aggressively and could happily take up a whole garden bed if you let it!

Plant some Swiss Chard- if you haven't already- this stuff can grow nearly all year in Houston and is very tasty too! 🥬

Some of the toughest plants in the garden (in my opinion)! Malabar spinach, chives, & lemongrass 🍋

Milkweed & Mist Flower. Two butterfly plants that help bring pollinators to your garden- and they're very easy to maintain 🦋

Fall seeds available at ! It's always good to get some seeds started so they're ready to plant when it cools down!

It's about time to restock on transplants from your local nursery! Strawberries, tomatoes, and other goodies are in season!

Collecting seeds is a fun way to save money and prioritize plants that are performing well in your area! Featured: Echinacea purpurea aka Purple Coneflower. This plant is well-loved among pollinators and thrives in Harris County as well as other areas! All you need is a screen and a poster board to do the collecting ✨

Utilizing vertical space is super helpful for summer gardening. Tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, and squash are all good options for vertical growing!
