Luck Of The Draw Cabin

So much natural light in this private home. The great room as seen from the galley kitchen. Three bedrooms two baths with the river just steps away. There is no road between house and river fun!

We arrived at the golden hour! Mia is smiling, Leo is getting unpacked, and I'm taking pictures. Fair deal, I think cause I'll get dinner ready eventually.😁

I got restless around 10:00 this morning. I couldn’t see any activity going on along the paths below but thought what the heck. I don’t want to stay inside. I am so glad I did! The butterflies were everywhere and so many varieties. All I had to do was stand still in the middle of the field of Maximilians and Frostweed and they would flit back and forth. I actually think at some point they wanted their picture taken! It was a joyful moment for me.

We got some glorious rain last week off and on for three days. It was wonderful to watch the rain and listen to the thunder. Although the river had not dried up, lots of good rain helped to replenish. The panting in the background is our Aussie who has high anxiety in a storm. She was fine after it passed.
