Join us in radical Giving Tuesday! For over 40 years, OCA-GH has been investing in civically engaging and educating the youth — building a pipeline for emerging leaders. In the Houston community, through our robust youth program, together with our partners, we've created spaces and trip opportunities for high school students to discuss, in depth, topics such as civil rights, the justice system, immigration and public health. We provide resources, space, and autonomy for students to inquire and take action on these issues affecting our communities and families – something the students can’t always find in the classroom. The most notable moment we want to personally share is in 2022, where our youth leaders in solidarity with our partner organizations, activists, and community members testified at the School Board of Education.
