The Hudson Police Department held a ceremony today to dedicate a memorial in the front of the Hudson Police station to honor Retired Sergeant Donna Briggs. The family of Sergeant Briggs was able to join us for this special remembrance.
We would like to give special thanks to Hudson Department of Public Works for their help getting the grounds ready, Hudson Quarry for their donation, and Hudson Monuments especially David Cote for their donation, time and effort to add to this beautiful tribute.
Lastly we want to thank the Hudson Police Employee Association (HPEA), and members Ronald Cloutier and Colleen Jefferson for their hard work in making this happen.
We will always remember Sergeant Briggs.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of our sister in blue retired Sergeant Donna Briggs. Donna was training for her upcoming Ride for the Fallen where law enforcement participants ride in memory of fallen officers. While riding her bicycle in Kingston N.H. Donna was struck and killed by an unknown motorist who failed to stop or report the accident. Donna was to ride in memory of E.Kingston fallen Officer Mel Keddy. Our hearts go out to Donna, her family and friends. This is a tragic loss for everyone who knew and loved Donna.
