EVERYONE SHARE THIS PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW NOT TO SUPPORT THIS KIND OF BUSINESS

So I rented an aerator/plugger from “Springs Road Rent-Alls” on Friday at about 8am. I completed my work and went to return the equipment at about 1:50. You can clearly see on google that they close at 5pm (their website says 3pm.) Either way, I was there well before “closing time.” The gate was closed with a sign that said “out for deliveries, sorry for the inconvenience.” I figured he would be back soon, so me and an employee (on the clock) sat and waited for about an hour. He never showed, and we left. I called and left a voicemail explaining that I had tried to return the plugger, but there was no one there and I didn’t know if I would be able to get there on Monday because I had to work. My business partner went back a little before 5pm to see if he was back yet, to no avail. Mind you we live 35 minutes away, so in a big truck these were not cheap trips. I happened to get time to take it back today, and was about 2 minutes away when I got a phone call from the “business” telling me I was late and I needed to get their equipment back. I tried explaining that I would be there in 2 minutes and I had tried to get it back on Friday and she spoke to me with the biggest disrespect I’ve ever heard in my life and hung up on me. So we walk in, and she immediately walks away. She comes back a couple minutes later and I told her we had tried to return it on Friday and that they should update the hours so they don’t waste peoples resources, and she kept cutting me off and being very disrespectful. She said “if I want my deposit back I better shut the hell up.” Her husband, the owner, then came storming around the corner yelling and cussing at me not to talk to his wife that way, pointing his hand in my face saying he was gonna come around the counter and put both me and my girlfriend in the hospital. He kept cussing at us and being very threatening saying he was gonna kick both of our a** and told me to get the f out of his store, and didn’t give me my deposit back. He said he didn’t need us and called my girlfriend trash. To say the least this is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever experienced from a place that calls themselves a business. As a business owner myself, I would NEVER treat any of my customers even remotely like that.

DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THERE OR YOU RUN THE RISK OF BEING PHYSICALLY THREATENED AND CUSSED AT FOR NO REASON!!

Howdy everyone! We are getting everything ready for this coming season and couldn’t be more excited. I plan on doing a big aeration/overseeding day in the next couple weeks if anyone wants to get on my list for that. Feel free to call with questions if you aren’t sure what this service is, or refer back to previous posts.

If you have any areas that tend to get overgrown this time of year, LET ME KNOW ASAP so I can get that stuff cleared before it gets bad!!

Hey folks, we are renting a plugger and doing aeration and overseeding/fert for a few customers on September 23rd. We are trying to do as many as possible on that day since we will be renting it anyways, so if anyone wants a beautiful lawn let me know! NOW is the time to do it, early fall or late spring are the best times..

Some benefits of aeration and overseeding:

Less soil compaction, allowing more nutrients, water, and air to reach the grass root zone

More effective seed germination creating thicker and healthier grass growth

Reduced thatching and thin spots

W**d control due to grass seed germinating and taking nutrients from w**ds, keeping them from growing.

Incorporating different blends of grass seed to help reduce risk of disease

Aeration and overseeding is the best way to control w**ds. W**ds appear where there’s a spot open for them to be successful. The best way to combat that is having a thick lawn to keep w**ds from finding those spots where they like to grow.

Some pics from this awesome job we got to do a couple weeks back! The grass is starting to look great and the bare spots have been filled in and will be lush and green soon! Some say it’s hard to grow grass in red clay but we have what it takes to get the job done. This is an exciting picture for us. We started back in April with a 10 foot tilt trailer and the cub cadet residential mower, and are finishing out our first season in business with an 18 foot trailer and the John Deere commercial mower along with the cub cadet for hills and so we can get done faster. I’m so thankful for all the business and support we have gotten so far to get us to this point! It’s small wins like this that keep me excited and keep me on the grind.

Hey folks, after almost a full season of service and learning more about our strengths and weaknesses, we have decided to make a name change from "Good Ole Boys Landscaping" to "Good Ole Boys Lawn Care." We will still be offering the same services, with a bigger emphasis on our mowing and w**d eating. The main reason for this being an irrigation certification required to be considered a "landscaping" company. For some reason, Facebook will not let me change our name at this point, but it should be fixed shortly.

I have also been working on a website that will be connected to this account when it's finished if anyone would be interested in checking it out!
