The Florida News Report Substack endorses me as a Conservative Republican. I also wholeheartedly endorse the other school board candidates; Matt Geiger from District 3 and Steve Meisman from District 1. All three of us share a common conservative platform of reform for the Pasco County school district.

ivoterguide.com with my profile along with my opponent's. Noteworthy is that she did NOT answer any questions. Doesn't sound too transparent. They just happened to rate her a moderate.....they probably viewed her voting record.

So we have Megan Harding, my opponent unanimously voting with the other school board members to approve a referendum to be placed on the August 23 ballot to increase your property taxes by up to 1 mil. Why? Because the district, according to Kevin Shibley, Assistant Superintendent for Administration, has “tried to overturn every rock” * in order to find the budget money to give teachers and non-administrative workers a salary raise to be competitive with Hillsborough, Pinellas and Hernando counties.

There needs to be consequences for bad behavior, even if doesn't get taught in the home. I have a plan whereby community service is added to school suspension so they can be used purposefully and hope to turn their attitudes around. Most time bad behavior is from lack of good role models (absent fathers). Helping others less fortunate than themselves also can get them to see they may not have it so bad. Just a thought....

No consequences means no boundaries.

Over 100 children a day in Florida get Baker Acted, often without parents being fully involved. Unacceptable! According to a 2021 Objectionable Materials Report by Florida Citizens Alliance (floridacitizensalliance.org) 57% of 58 books (33 books) used in Pasco County schools are deemed pornographic. When elected I will seek to create policy that has zero tolerance and more open online access to school libraries by parents. Also it should not be difficult, like it is now, to get on the curriculum advisory panel to review books.

Like water running downhill, keeping parents in the dark regarding the care of their kids flows from the government down to the Pasco school board. The CDC seems to be more interested in giving the teacher unions more of a forum than the parents when it came to re-opening the schools! When elected, I want to hold monthly focus groups that will include parents and teachers. As a servant I want to hear the issues that they struggle with! It is not about me but about the families and their children!

My wife and I pray the full blessings of Almighty God on this great country! Birthed 246 years ago by imperfect men looking to "create a more perfect union". Our "Declaration of Independence", is based on the irrefutable fact that our Founding Fathers had the audacity to place ink to paper that our rights do NOT come from any man but through the loving grace of Almighty God. They knew that the source of our blessings and prosperity come from a loving God and created a never before tried experiment in world history. This experiment would be created by the wisdom of almighty God for the people and by the people to live in freedom from tyrannical governments was never seen before in the history of mankind.

We are at a crossroads in American History where we are eyewitnesses to an all-out onslaught of our multi-faceted way of life in all seven mountains of influence; but none more insidious than in the takeover of the souls of our children with regards to the education system in America. Do NOT give up the fight for the protection of our kids. They are worth the fight! Go to the school board meetings! Please vote on August 23. We have the opportunity to choose three new school board members! Make your voices be heard to the district...to the teachers...to the legislators!

A “republic” is a form of government in which the people hold power, but elect representatives to exercise that power.
