🎼 Calling all musicians, far and wide🎼 Acclaimed composer, drummer and bandleader Bobby Previte will lead an IN-PERSON, four-day workshop for student, amateur, and professional musicians at Hudson hall. Starting Tuesday, June 17, participants will create group improvisations structured around certain criteria, including form, rhythm, tempo, and orchestration. The class will investigate the nature of judgement, and touch on the relationships of other disciplines to music. At the conclusion of the course, participants will each write short “scores for improvisation.” The group will present these scores in an open-to-the-public concert in Hudson Hall! Take a look at original piece "Notes to Yourself," composed by Brian Caswell and performed by Kat Lewis, from Bobby's online ZOOM workshop back in January.
