Sad news to report is that Tom Gabriel passed away last June (2022). Tom was a force at TWTA and had a huge impact on the trajectory of the business. There were ups and downs for sure, and in total I really enjoyed working with him from 1976 onward. He was a rascal with a super engaging personality and a ton of drive and talent. I think of him often as I attempt to run a modern day bike shop. Really wish he had more time in the life he had created. Check out Tom's page - he was in Joshua Tree. Michelle Ansdell Gabriel married Tom around 3(?) years ago. They sure look happy together!
