Jesus forgave Peter in John 21 and called him as a fisher of men who would tell people the good news of salvation. Jesus forgives us and calls each of us to share the gospel with others.

Praising God for a WBKid baptism this morning!

Praising God this morning for 305 total Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes! Thank you church family for giving so generously so that children around the world hear about the greatest gift, Jesus Christ!

Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but He didn’t stay dead! Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day to reign as King over all creation!

What a JOYFUL night as 130 of our church family packed the best and most yet - 114 OCC boxes!

Thank you to all who came, all who donated, those that served with set up and clean up (especially 3 passionate ladies for OCC), our wonderful guest missionaries and 2 youth of our own who shared about receiving OCC boxes when they were in Ukraine.

Can’t wait to see the final total as all boxes are due back THIS Sunday!

We deserve to die because of our sin, but God loves us and kept His promise to send a Savior. Jesus never sinned, but He died in our place. Jesus was crucified - Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23-24, John 19-20.

Jesus was anointed in Matthew 26, Mark 14 and John 12. Mary’s love for Jesus as the Messiah was shown through her gift of oil. Mary worshipped Him as the ‘Anointed One’. May we worship Him as our Savior!

What a fun Sunday morning as we celebrated Christmas in September for Operation Christmas Child!
In Matthew 25, Jesus taught a parable about 3 servants - 2 of them used what they were given by their master and gained more while 1 of them hid what they were given. As a christian, we have the task of serving God with our life!

Religious leaders wanted to trick Jesus in Matthew 22 but Jesus answered their questions with wisdom and power because He is the Messiah, the Son of God!

People welcomed Jesus as King 👑 in Matthew 21. Jesus is the Messiah spoken about in Zechariah 9:9, riding on a donkey. He is the King, children would praise from Psalm 8:2.

Such a wonderful Sunday morning with 3 of our WBKids and close friends baptized! And an exciting start to summer as we look at some of Jesus’ miracles. Today’s was Jesus calming the storm in Mark 4. The disciples knew Jesus was a good man and good teacher but by speaking to the wind and the waves to be silent, Jesus showed them He was also God!
…. And VBS decorating, prep is everywhere! We can’t wait for you to see and experience it all - only 1 week away!

We are saved through faith in Jesus! In Hebrews 11 this morning with the men and women who lived by faith- trusting God. Verse 2 teaches that Jesus is the source and finisher of our faith. Verse 6, as we have memorized this month, teaches that without faith it is impossible to please God!

Peter understood that he was a sinner and recognized that Jesus is God in Luke 5. We can turn to Jesus for forgiveness and follow Jesus by faith just as Peter responded.
Kids played different fishing games and took home a fish they colored with our memory verse, Hebrews 11:6.

Jesus’ miracles in Luke 4 proved that He is the Messiah, the son of God. The people of Capernaum were amazed by Jesus. His miracles strengthened their faith and met their needs.

In Luke 4, Jesus read Isaiah’s words then announced he had fulfilled those words - he was the promised Messiah! The people of Nazareth rejected Jesus because of their unbelief. We talked about accepting Jesus - salvation through faith. Kids began learning a new memory verse, Hebrews 11:6.
