Coffee Cop

I went to make the raspberry white chocolate and my raspberries weren’t good 😭. So, I whipped up a homemade banana syrup and combined it with white chocolate,, a double shot of espresso, and half and half to make a delicious banana cream pie breve. Oh my. It was excellent! Highly recommend.

Here wishing I had made a coffee before I left for work. I’ll have to settle with this. But, thinking about making a raspberry sauce later and doing a raspberry white chocolate latte or iced coffee later, thoughts?

The Dutch Bros Coffee on my way to work has been a huge difference maker. Whenever I’m running late I just swing in and grab a delicious iced brevé. Today’s choice was the Kicker, Irish crème. It’s so delicious! What’s your go to if you frequent DBs?

Mondays coffee choice. Been drinking iced brevés all last week and started a fast on Friday night so now back to just coffee and water. At the 60 hour mark and this coffee was delicious. Definitely a change from the iced brevés to hot drip coffee but better choice than just water hahaha. What’s everyone else drinking today?

Morning meeting so had to choose a coffee spot. Decided on Olde Towne Coffee Shoppe since I haven’t been in a while. I decided on the Triple Crown Latte which is Irish cream and cupcake. I decided to get it iced and it is delicious. Definitely a nice combination between the Irish cream and the vanilla in the cupcake blends well with the espresso and the milk. Value is great and the atmosphere is quiet and small with options of outside seating as well. If you’re in the Huntsville 5-points area definitely swing by and give them a try!

Monday! Ugh. Second coffee, this one I made here at the office and couldn’t find any cool tumblers so red solo cup it is! I made a sugar free vanilla bean brevé. 1/2&1/2 with double shot of espresso and sugar free vanilla bean. De-lici-ous. Anyone else enjoy brevés?

Currently protecting one of my favorite bags of coffee while drinking it. Huge shout out to Blue Line Roasting Co. Tactically Crafted Coffee for making this delicious roast! What’s everyone drinking on this Friday and preparing for the weekend? Also, had to pick my favorite cup made by Nicole Volk, Potter. Because it added +14 taste points to this coffee.

Iced white chocolate caramel latte for the start to the day. Going to be a multiple coffee day for sure!

New review of Focal Point Coffee Roasters LLC Grey Matters. This coffee was designed by the owner James after he found out that he had a brain tumor while on vacation. James has been a supporter of the page and I’ve reviewed some of his coffee in the past. It’s such a sad story to read especially to an amazing person. I’ve been sipping on this all week long and excited to jump into the review. With each purchase funds will go towards Brain Tumor Research!

I got this coffee ground as I have been non-stop on the go lately and just haven’t had time to grind up coffee. I know, crazy, but it is what it is and I’ve been valuing sleep over most things. Anyway, the coffee arrived super fresh and let me tell you, the box smelled amazing as soon as I opened it up. The bag states a special blend of chocolate spices and sweetness. I’ve been brewing it by pour over, traditional drip, and iced. This is a nice medium body coffee that would be something you could easily drink everyday. Nice strong taste to it with the sweetness and the chocolate notes really shining through on the end. The iced version of this really brought out that sweetness making this such an easy coffee to drink without any need for sweetner or even milk/cream. I did add a splash of heavy cream in last night and the smooth mouthfeel mixed with the chocolate notes just kept me going back for sip after sip. Because it is so fresh you don’t have to worry about any bitterness as it’s roasted properly and shipped fresh.

Each blend I have tried from them has been excellent. Top notch freshness which is key in providing the best possible coffee tastes. Great customer service, have had the pleasure of talking to James not just about coffee but life as well. Definitely a company worth supporting and a bag of coffee worth supporting! Get yours today so more money can go towards Brain Tumor Research. We need people like James around providing us with quality coffee.

Iced coffee run on my next review 👀👀. Busy week ahead probably going to need a lot of coffee. Also tried a new whipped cream that I made up that coffee bean helped with and loved, that will be revealed soon as well! Keep your eyes peeled for those this week!

The Dutch Bros Coffee opened that’s on my way to work, I’ve been stopping every day since Friday’s opening. Got the iced 9-1-1 today with soft top. Figured 6 shots of espresso would be a good start to the night. What’s your go to at DB?? Happy Easter everyone!
