🚨Grissom Tiger Fans🚨 Coach Dutton wanted to post and extend an invite to all former alumni who want to stop by and watch a practice and meet the players. We are practicing next week from 3:45 to 5:20 Monday-Wednesday. We also travel to Decatur-Ogle Stadium on 5/20 for our spring jamboree at 7 PM. We hope to see you there. Go Tigers!

Attention former Grissom Tiger Football Alumni:
The varsity football staff has been working on alumni records and relations since their transition to South Huntsville. Coach Rich Dutton and staff have been working through previous seasons’ stats to find individual and team records. It is very important to the staff for alumni to feel welcomed and valued in our vision for Grissom Football.
We are hosting Meet The Tigers on August 2nd at 6 PM at 1001 Haysland Rd SW. In addition to Meet The Tigers, we want to extend an invitation for any alumni to stop in and meet the staff and players, as well as tour our facilities. We feel connecting with former alumni will aid to maintaining the rich football culture of Grissom High School.
Currently, the football program is at a crossroad. Due to a high number of a players and helmet/shoulder pad shortage, the staff is reaching out for your help. Booster funds have been used to take care of our players’ needs, but as coaches we are in need for new headsets for in-game communication. This is a major need at this time. Hey parents. I have 3 dates available to help. The coaches are fed after every varsity game. I need 3 people that are willing to pick up food and deliver it to the coaches at the school after the games. The open dates are October 10, October 25 and November 1. There are 9 coaches that will need to be fed. You can present your receipt to the booster club for reimbursement, but donations are also welcome, whether you donate the food or are able to get a restaurant to donate the food.
