One season since built new, currently sitting at Engine Builder. They can give you all the specs. $5200 for motor Intake to Pan with Distributor. $5500 with Speedway Universal Bellhousing and Schoenfeld Headers (fits Shaw Modified).
Price is OBO
Went Late Model racing with intentions of running Limited with it, but will be focusing on Crate for the foreseeable future.
Good Morning Everyone!
We have made the difficult decision to sit this weekend out. It has been a long busy week for us, and as a result we were unable to give the car the attention it needed. We will be back next weekend somewhere!
Get out and go support your local short track!
Recap:
10 cars made the call for the 602 Sportsman Class, we rolled off P3, settled into 2nd where we ran for the majority of the race, a late race restart and a driver error dropped us back to p3 where we would finish. All in all a great night of clean hard racing. Thank you to DJ's Pizza, Liberty Racing Review, Claybrook Performance and Machine, BYRC race shop and parts, Clark Properties, Nu-South Contracting, and all of my friends and family that have helped along the way! We have a good piece! On to the next!
P2 in Heat 1, should put us starting inside second row for the feature. It's gonna be a 1 lane slick track by the looks of it.
Racing in Fort Payne this weekend! Keep an eye out for pictures!
Wishing the happiest of birthdays to one of our amazing sponsors! Happy Birthday Tiffany!!
Its been a little while since our last update. We've been sidelined for the better part of the last month or so getting repairs done to the back of the car after losing a fight with the outside wall. Shoutout to BYRC race shop and parts for fixing her up better than new (see below for a before and after!) Jason and Jennifer have been taking care of us for the last 4 years, and I can honestly say that you won't find better people that you can trust with your race car. So thankful for them and all they do not just for the racers but also for the sport.
As for us and where we will be next. We will be taking one more weekend off so that we have time to go through the car front to back and do some regular maintenance, and we will be back the weekend of June 22nd! Stay tuned to the page as we try to post our weekend plans no later than Wednesday!
Always remember to go out and support your local short track wherever you are!
Little recap. After the first race, we backed it into the wall pretty hard. We got it back in the pits with all intent to just load it up, but after looking, everything was bent behind the rear end, so we started the 2nd feature, ran the whole thing and brought it home 3rd. Car still drove fine so we are fairly certain everything can be repaired. Sometimes it pays off to not give up on it. All in all still happy with how the car drove, we will be back in a couple weeks after we get fixed up! Thank you again to all my sponsors!

Feature #1 was a make up race for last week. So we had to start at the tail of a 14 car field. We were rolling good until about halfway, they piled up in front of me and we backed it into the wall.
We are loaded up and headed out to Fort Payne Motor Speedway tonight.

Made the hard decision to keep the car up on stands one more week. With mother nature having mood swings we decided not to take a chance on track conditions and rain this week. We will be back next weekend ready to go!

Our 2023 season has officially came to an end! We have had a year with the highest of highs and some not so great lows. We ended the year with 1 feature win and multiple top 3's. Our Ford powerplant is currently at the doctor getting some upgrades for 2024. Also, about a month ago we made the decision to send our modified to a new home and try our hand at Late Models once again. In our only start with the Late Model we started 7th and finished 6th, not too bad for spending the majority of the race learning a new car.
For 2024 we plan to focus on running the new car as a 602 Crate Late Model, and to sprinkle a few Limited Late Model races in there once our Ford engine comes back home.
Thanks to all of our Sponsors and Partners: Nu-South Contracting, Clark Properties, Claybrook Performance and Machine, Backyard Race Cars, and Shaw Race Cars as well as our supporters and fans for another successful season.
Looking forward to 2024!
What a night! Made wholesale changes this week. Fought some carb issues throughout the night. Started outside pole, dropped the hammer, and found our way to victory lane! It has definitely been a long time coming. Thanks to everyone that made this happen! Shaw Race Cars, Jason and Jennifer Byrd with BYRC race shop and parts for keeping this thing rolling, Brady and Clay Claybrook (Claybrook Performance and Machine) for building a killer powerplant. Philip Smith and Richard Smith (NuSouth Contracting) for everything they do to help me out every single week. Steve Clark for sacrificing his own time and money to help me do what I love. My family for supporting me through the 25 years of doing this hobby. It's been a wild ride, and we are just getting started!!
Casey is loving every minute of this ❤️ best crew chief around!
More progress today. Should be ready for the first points race!
2023 Season is about ready to kick off. Here are a couple previews of some of the changes we are making for 2023! Want to give a shoutout to Kevin Tripp with Extreme Concepts for another beautiful wrap, and Claybrook Performance and Machine for this brand new Blue Oval Bullet to drop in between the frame rails. We will be laying this color and getting some sound in the next couple of weeks!
The off-season has been in full force for us. New body by BYRC race shop and parts has been installed, and currently having a BRAND NEW powerplant being put together by Claybrook Performance and Machine. The last thing on our to do list is the wrap. With that being said. We have spots still available for partners to come on board for the 2023 season. If you are interested in having your company and/or brand on the side of a rolling billboard traveling across the southeast, then do not hesitate to reach out to me on here or through email at [email protected].
We hope you all have a happy and safe Holiday Season. See you all at the track in 2023!
2022 is a wrap! 5 different tracks in 3 different states. A lot of miles traveled and laps logged. Very happy with the progress we made this year even if the end results don't always show it. We went outside our comfort zone and were a top 5 if not top 3 threat everywhere we went.
Looking into 2023 Casey Clark Racing is seeking a few more partners to come on board for the new year. We will be expanding our goals in 2023 to hit more tracks and more of the larger events across the southeast region. If you are interested in bringing your company on board feel free to send a DM to me through Facebook on this page or an email to [email protected]. We would love to represent your company, and can make a package for you to fit in any budget!
Thanks to all for your support in 2022, and looking forward to building on that momentum into 2023!
