What an honor to be recognized by the Mayor of Independence, Missouri! We were issued this proclamation today for “consistently delivering high-quality care” and “fostering a positive and trusting environment” for our patients. It’s our pleasure to serve our community and take care of people from all over the Greater Kansas City area. I couldn’t do it without this amazing team of women. ❤️🩺

After all the thunderstorms blew through, we ended up having a GORGEOUS afternoon for the March edition of Walk with the Doc!! We had some first timers today as well, and everyone got in two miles on the Little Blue Trace Trail. Thank you to everyone that came out this afternoon!! ❤️🩺 👟

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Kathleen, who works at our office front desk! She recently was named in the TOP 3 MDVIP Ambassadors in the nation for her kind heart. She’s always happy to drive a patient home if they need a ride, tag along on house calls, and will even drive to a patient’s home to check on them if she’s worried about them. She also brings our patients fresh eggs from her chickens! We’re so proud of her, and she deserves every bit of her $1500 prize. We love you, Kathleen! ❤️🩺

HUGE THANKS to Dr. Erin Bider, Psychiatrist at the University of Kansas Medical Center for speaking to our patients tonight about “Recognizing and Treating Depression in the New Year.” It was chock full of great information and the patients asked some fantastic questions! ❤️🩺

As many of you know, our office adopts a different charity to support each year at the holidays. This year, we’ve selected Community Service League! They do so many wonderful things in our community. They are asking for hats, scarves, gloves, and underwear, in addition to toys and gifts for kids from infant - 18 years old. Every year you all show up big time to help support our charity!! Items must be dropped off by December 5th in order for them to be organized for the Christmas Store. This way, families that would otherwise not be able to provide gifts for their children will be able to come and “shop” before the holidays. Items can be dropped off between 8 AM - 12 PM or 1 PM -5 PM M-F at:
