Yesterday was the first day of Advent, which marked the beginning of a new church year and the wait for Christmas. I had really hoped to be done with all orders by the time Advent began, but alas, life with three littles is unpredictable! I was glad to send this little beauty out over the weekend, though 😍 Just a few ornaments to go!

It’s tempting, as a small business owner, to feel like I should offer some type of sale or discount for Black Friday… but as a stay-at-home mom who knows how expensive living can be, I try to price my items fairly while also giving my work the value it deserves. For that reason (among others), I won’t be running any big sales for the holiday season.

All that being said, I do hope you will still consider shopping small this holiday season, even if the smaller businesses can’t give you the deep discounts you’re used to getting from the big brands! This year, I decided to dial back the work I was doing throughout the year, and I am glad I did. My current season of life just doesn’t allow for regular participation in craft fairs! But these two fall markets were so great and time well-spent. Thank you again to everyone who supported my small business!!

Another teacher gift, to one of the best TK teachers in the world! Preschool teachers are some of the best people in the world. It’ll be hard to say goodbye!!

The school year is coming to a close, which means we are preparing to say goodbye to teachers who have been so wonderful and formative to my children! It’s bittersweet, but at least I can show an ounce of my appreciation with a personalized gift. This was so fun to make 💛 Let’s finish the school year strong!
