Today was a good day! Cleaned out the green house and planted a fall crop of beets, turnips, and kale. Cleaned up the garden bed and planted more… kale. Out in the pasture I seeded for clover and a cover crop. Chores are done, and it’s time to make bread and a nice pot of chili! Rooster changed the oil and rotated tires in the vehicles. Changed a fuel pump and some other mechanical things in the vehicles. Now he’s out in the woods to fill the freezer. Tomorrow I’ll be starting tallow soap making! No rest for the wicked ;)

P.S. the kale is not for us, but to feed the animals that feed us. The boys will be horrified at how much kale was planted today if it wound up on their plates lol!!!

1 tsp parsley
