'He's the whole package.' Luke Himes has year's best shot put throw for US high schooler. While Luke Himes has the top shot put in the nation for a high schooler, he does have significant competition for a state championship.

What a great weekend at the HSR Indoor State Championships! We are so proud of all these kids! The girls placed 3rd in the state!!
- Kya Crooke went Triple Gold (60M, LJ, HJ)
- Elise Smith earned Bronze in the 60M
- Girls 4x200 6th (Keyearah, Alanna, Elise, Kya)
- Girls 4x800 had a massive PR with a time of 10:23.1 (Katherina, Elise, Brie, Evie)

This was our largest boys team we’ve ever taken to HSR. Having Heritage represented in almost every event was incredible to watch. The boys came in 7th overall!
- Luke Himes won the shot put
- Boys 4x400 5th (DJ, Nolen, Cole, Daniel P)
- Boys 4x800 5th (Caleb, Willem, Cole, Kaden)
- Boys 4x200 beat their previous PR with a time of 1:34.9! (DJ, Nolen, Daniel P, Erie)
- Boys DMR came in just outside the points in 9th with a time of 11:14.7 (Alex, Willem, Caleb, Daniel P)
