The Countdown is Officially On!
Last year, we made history with our most successful Day of Giving in our Foundation's history. On our fraternity's 150th Founders' Day, more than 540 donors came together to raise $329,428 towards undergraduate education, programs, scholarships and much more.
This year, we are going to make history again. With two months until the 2024 Day of Giving, staff is putting the final preparations on a monumental day for our fraternity.
As we begin our countdown, be on the look out for special Day of Giving content on our social media, more information on how to give back, and more.

Rounding out our new Grand Council Directors is Brother Jacob Defassio (Valpo ’12)! Brother Defassio served as an officer on the Phi Sigma Kappa Properties board for five years before transitioning to his role on the Grand Council. He also remained active locally, serving as the Phi Upsilon adviser and Alumni President. Hear Brother Defassio’s vision as a Grand Council Director below!
Introducing another new member of the Grand Council, Brother Steve Chastain (Pittsburg State ’10)! Brother Chastain served as a Regional Adviser starting in 2013 for groups in the Midwest. In addition to his national roles, Brother Chastain remained active on the local level, working as Beta Epsilon’s Chapter Adviser and Alumni Vice President. Introducing your new Grand President, Brother David Cohen (Union ‘88)! Brother Cohen was elected as Grand President after a four-year stint as a Grand Council Director. Prior to his service on the Grand Council, Brother Cohen served as Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation President from 2003 until 2008. As an undergraduate, Brother Cohen received the Order of the Diamond Circle award, given to members who excel in their abilities and achievements and demonstrate leadership in Phi Sigma Kappa through loyalty, hard work, and dedication. He also earned the Medallion of Merit in 2015, becoming the only brother to earn Phi Sig’s highest recognition as an undergraduate and alumnus.
