South Course Reopen Announcement: The South Course will be reopening for 18 hole play on Wednesday January 3rd, 2024.

We will be reopening into a full 18 hole rotation which will include a return to the “gate system” . Additionally the driving range and Shadows Terrace will reopen on Wednesday January 3rd.

Brandon Robison (Centerville, Utah) won the 2023 Agave Amateur with a birdie on the second playoff hole over Logan Hamak (Sartell, MN). Robison, who was in 2nd place coming into today’s final round, shot a final round 67 (-4) to finish the tournament at -11. Hamak shot an identical 67 to finish at -11 as well. Both players were one-shot back heading into the tournament’s 54th hole when leader Phillip Kench made a double-bogey to create the ‘surprise’ playoff. Both players parred the first playoff hole (Shadow Hills’ 10th) and then Robison birdied the 2nd hole, the par-5 11th, when he converted a 6-foot birdie putt. Making the win even more improbable, Robison had to hit his third shot from a divot. Robison is a sophomore on the University of Utah golf team, coached by Garrett Clegg.

We are very excited to once again be the host course for the 2023 Agave Amateur Event. This premier amateur golf tournament is part of the Troon Saguaro Amateur Series. The Agave Amateur field will feature top ranked amateurs with high World Amateur Golf Rankings as the complete over three days on the South Course.

Players will complete Saturday, December 16, through Monday, December 18, on the South Course.

We have provided a QR code for daily pictures as well as a link to live scoring.
