In addition to our simply pasteurized, non homogenized, and absolute zero additive whole goat milk in stores, both of our farms can also set up milk shares. What an incredibly beautiful day today. Sure, snow and cold weather mean extra work, but I just love winter. The beauty, the good feeling when you have all the goats well taken care of, the giggles when the kids steal your hat while you’re getting the snow out of their feed troughs, and the expectation of fresh does and babies. This morning I switched the wheelbarrow for the sled, and did what most farmers love to do: play outside and take care of the beasts!

Brookwood farms has hit kidding season our busiest time of year! Our family run farm is a small 600 acre farm where we grow NonGMO crops that feed all our animals, we know where our food and theirs comes from. We love being able to bring our pasture raised fresh goats milk to your tables! Stay tuned we have just begun kidding around!

Meanwhile, out on the farm, we make sure the ladies stay comfortable. And the random escapee littles as well 😆 Great milk comes from happy, well taken care of goats. Fresh, cozy straw to lay down on, on these cold days, and ample balage to munch on, plus a nice grain mix as a power-snack while they are being milked.
