A fun night of racing and camaraderie at the annual Community Cross in City Park last night! Good weekend of racing iIowa from to Cannonball CX to the Iowa State Gravel TT Championships! Through all the hills, heat, and a few wrong turns it was a good weekend to be on a bike.

Goosetown Racing showed up strong and fought through a challenging course, cramps, and a few crashes to put up some solid results! It was great to see everyone out there today, even through the suffering and especially with the socializing afterwards. Good times and camaraderie racing this weekend at the Prairie Burn in Grinnell. Several Goosetowner's were among the riders along with a strong Iowa City group from Crandic, Gravel Scouts, and Iowa City Cycling Club. The potential for rain never materialized and we had a great day on some sweet gravel and B roads in the area. Thanks to the Prairie Burner's and all the organizers for a great event! Hope to be back again next year! .

The 2023 New Pi to New Pi ride was a success! The rain held of and we had a good group for the trip across town. Thanks to for sponsoring the event and for the music!

A few Goosetowners raced at the 2023 edition of the Driftless in Elkader this past weekend. Congrats to Mike with a top 10 finish in the 60 mile race! This year we are doing something new by switching to a Saturday morning to make it easier for families to join in the fun. Our welcome party in Coralville will have a bounce house, live music, free food, raffles and more! Come join in the fun!

*The bike ride is about 5 miles, and is considered an easy ride. You know your child's riding ability best! Trailers and tag alongs encouraged on this family-friendly ride. Riding on streets is kept to a minimum, with most of the ride on our bike trails.
