Today on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, I am thinking of all the families who have lost a baby.

Whether they lived only a few weeks in your womb, or a few hours in your arms, we honor their lives with you and are sending you a big hug.

Today I remember my babies and yours, and when tomorrow comes, I’ll still think of them.

Will you share their name with me so I can say it tonight when I light my candle in their memory?

As we head into the weekend, I want to express my immense gratitude for the trust you placed in me over the past few months.

In July, you shared with me the names of your precious babies who left too soon. There were over 1,500 of them, and each one as unique and special as the stories you also shared with me. I know your baby’s names are sacred to you, and I don’t take it lightly that for some of you, it was your first time sharing their name with a stranger.

In August, you preordered the candles and watched as I made every single one of them by hand. Your messages of love and support during this time kept me going more than you’ll ever know.

Then, in September, you patiently waited until I shipped the candles to you.

What a journey this has been.

It’s bittersweet that this year’s project is coming to an end. Now October is here, and next week on Tuesday, you’re going to light these candles in remembrance of your little ones.

And as I wrap everything up, I can’t help but think of my own. They’re the reason I learned about Wave of Light, and why I’ve been creating this collection for four years. My losses led me here, and I wouldn’t be doing any of this, if it wasn’t for them.

I also do this for you.
And your babies.

I hope these candles bring you comfort and peace this month and beyond. May this collection always be a reminder that we are not alone. Not us here…and not them up there.

Preorders for our Wave of Light candles are officially closed. ✨

As I transition to the production phase of this collection, I want to thank all of you who have given me the opportunity to create this special tribute for your babies.
 
Whether this is your first year, or fourth year, being part of it with us, thank you.

Thank you for sharing every name and every story with me. It’s an honor to know thousands of names that belong to the little ones you love, miss and remember daily. 
 
As a bereaved parent, I know there is nothing that can take away the pain of losing your child, but I hope that you find comfort in the simple act of lighting a candle with their name. 

Thank you for all the love and support you’ve sent my way this past week, and thank you in advanced for your patience as I focus on the production of every candle for the next month.

Do you like watching what goes on behind-the-scenes? If you do, I will try to keep you up to date with our progress via our Stories…but if you notice a bit of silence around here, don’t worry — I am probably working while juggling the different roles I have outside of this project.

✨IMPORTANT PREORDER INFORMATION REGARDING OUR WAVE OF LIGHT COLLECTION✨

We are SO grateful for all the love you have given the collection this week. Within three days we surpassed the number of candles preordered that we forecasted for this year, and today we made arrangements to get more supplies that we will need to fulfill them all.

We plan to close preorders this Sunday, August 18 at midnight PT, as announced for the past two weeks. However, we now have a limited stock available and preorders may close before Sunday if we reach that limit.

If you or someone you know has not placed a preorder yet, we highly recommend you do it as soon as you can since it is no longer a guarantee that preorders will be open until Sunday. We ask that you please share these news with friends or family who have been waiting to preorder so that they don’t miss out.

Keep in mind, this is your only opportunity to get these candles. We only offer them this time of year and will not be opening preorders for a second round as we have in the past.

✨THE WAVE OF LIGHT COLLECTION IS LIVE ✨

Every year we create a special collection dedicated to families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, birth or infancy. The names of their much-loved babies are aligned next to each on the labels that wrap around our candles.

We are honored to know more than 1,500 names this year.

As part of our mission to raise awareness and support families impacted by a pregnancy or infant loss, we pour our hearts into this collection because the cause is very important to us and the community that surrounds us. This collection means more than words can express, and we are thankful you’ve entrusted us with this special project.

Thank you for letting us into your homes and for sharing every story that is behind every name on our candles.

The preorder window for our Wave of Light collection is open now through Sunday, August 18 at midnight PT. A portion of proceeds from the entire collection will be donated to , a nonprofit providing no-cost support programs to bereaved families.

Preorders for our Wave of Light collection open tomorrow at 6:00 am PT.

I’ve included some basic information about the collection on this post, and I’ve posted more details about it in our Stories, (fragrance descriptions, visuals of the labels, etc). Please share it all with your family and/or friends to keep them informed on the process.

It feels like I have been talking about this collection for a very long time, and I probably have — at least for the past two months. I am nervous and excited, and emotional, all at once.

I pour so much love into this collection every year because the cause is so close to my heart, and I feel really grateful to have the opportunity to not only honor my son through each candle, but also honor yours. Thank you for being part of it all with me. ✨

Introducing: The Remembering You Always candle ✨

Created as part of our Wave of Light collection, this candle can be personalized with a single or multiple names, and is a beautiful option for those who did not get a chance to submit their baby’s name for the rest of our collection.

The label features a gold design made by my sweet friend, and loss mama, Hailey from . Hailey hand-lettered the words “Remembering You Always” — a shortened version of the “Remembering You Today & Always” that we’ve used for the past three years — and purposely drew twinkling stars on each side to be in a wave-like formation. The stars represent the little souls that are not here with us today.

It’s our favorite design to date, and we hope it reflects a bit of that the love and longing we feel for our babies.

This candle and the rest of our Wave of Light collection will be available to pre-order this Monday, August 12 starting at 6 a.m PT.

Wave of Light, Pregnancy & Infant Loss

We’ve been sharing a lot about our Wave of Light candles and it’s about time we share the names wrapped around each one of them.

What started with one candle and 100 names in 2021 is now a collection with more than 1,500 names split alphabetically into nine candles.

Some of these names have been on our candles since we first launched this collection. One of them is Sage, my son who died shortly after his birth due to a condition that was incompatible with life. It all started because of him, and the baby I lost through a miscarriage before him.

To say my heart breaks to see his name, and all of these names, side by side, on our candles is an understatement. But I like to think that where there is heartbreak, there is also a lot of love. Every single one of these babies is very much loved and remembered by their families, and this collection is a special tribute to their lives.

✨We’ve organized every name by the first letter of the first name submitted to us, and split them alphabetically as follows:

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, Wave of Light

Wave of Light - Name Submissions To honor the lives of babies gone too soon, we're creating a collection that includes their names. This collection is designed for the annual Wave of Light that happens every year on October 15 and is part of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

There may be over three months left until October, but around here, we’re getting ready to take on the biggest project of the year for us — our Wave of Light candles featuring the names of your babies.

A lot of preparation goes into these very special candles, and one of the first things we need to do is collect names to include on our labels.

Have you saved our reminder yet? Name submissions open July 1 at 9:00 a.m. PT.

Lighting a candle for those who are no longer here is a special way to include them in holidays like Easter. While they may not be here physically, their light will always be.

Last day to order for Valentine’s Day arrival is today!

All of our collections are special, but our Valentine’s collection truly has my heart. It was our first collection of the year, and many of you showed it so much love.

My favorite part, though, was connecting with new families through these candles, and learning / personalizing them with new names of babies and other loved ones gone too soon.

Our Valentine’s Day candles are back in stock, and only for a short period of time.

We made one last batch yesterday thinking of those who missed out on the first two batches released last month. The scent is different for this batch — sweet citrus. It’s my favorite candle scent that we carry that has bright notes of grapefruit, peach, and orange.

Grab them while you can — Valentine’s Day is less than two weeks away, and these will only be available until some time mid-next week to make sure they ship in time to arrive by 2/14.

A portion of every purchase from our Valentine’s Collection will be donated to , a nonprofit in Holly Springs, North Carolina that sends birthday cards to bereaved parents worldwide in remembrance of their babies gone too soon.
