🌵Kai 🏜️ I think this was the hottest day of the year so far lol… but we conquered! I loved Kai’s unique vintagy style and love for all things that grow from the earth! So that was our focus for most of his session, lots of nature spots with a few fun concepts thrown in ;-) We started at the Sherman Library Gardens in FULL SUN. We melted and moved on lol We finished up at a secret enchanted forest full of magical pockets of light beams and little streams and waterfalls and fallen logs and wildflowers. Kyler is an old soul and so kind and considerate and super fun to work with! Happy 20th birthday to Lake! So proud of you! Thank you for all you do and we appreciate and love your courage to live so authentically YOU🩵 Funny thing about our fam… our birthdays are all in a row and if my youngest hadn’t come early she would have been right there in line with us! My bday is 15th, son’s is 16th, my mom’s is 17th, my daughter’s is 3 weeks prior (Oct 24th). Also should add that studio style is not my forte lol so do t get used to it… I love to be out on location 🩵 - this was a test shoot for a client special request. We now only have 6 spots remaining for our most popular signature styled experiences before Christmas break (only 1 of those remain before daylight savings ends!). Once these are full, the rest of the 2023 is blocked off and you can either book our smaller one-hour weekday experience (if you are OCSA, this will still beat your yearbook deadline) and then we will have a Winter/Spring waitlist to get dibs on our signature sessions after holidays when that calendar opens up in January 2024. Here’s what your teen’s styling session is like step by step: 💖2 weeks before their photoshoot, we meet for a styling appointment! 💖This boutique service comes with 4 of our sessionoptions. It’s like a big dress-up party + free shopping! 💖We ask them to bring all their favorite fits, shoes, & accessories (like, pack a suitcase lol).💖We also curate a studio style rack based on their preferences + sizes on the style form we send both of you.💖Once you get here, we unpack everything they brought.💖Next, they get to shop our style racks to mix and match with your own outfits.💖Try as many as you want! It’s a chance for them to step outside their box if they want to try new things. With each outfit they like, we build it up to a complete “look” or concept.💖This is a true-to-you experience, and we want them to love and feel amazing in what they are wearing! 💖Next we take a quick photo for them to remember it, and it’s onto the next! 💖While they are changing, I’m going over products and prep info with you so you know what to expect. 💖At the end of the appointment, we send you both all the outfit pics so they can choose your favorites. 💖Styling creates anticipation, excitement, concepts, and inspiration! It also helps settle nerves. With the session prep and posing info we add, your teen will be feeling like a rockstar in front of the camera! These sessions are for all teens + high school seniors who want or need senior portraits (not the boring yearbook kind) or want to celebrate senior year or a milestone birthday in a very unique way.
