Memorial Day is to remember the sacrifices made, by those service men and women, whom have paid for our freedoms, with their very lives. The bugle call “Taps” has a tender significance in our hearts, “Taps” is played at 2300 hours on all military installations daily. “Taps” is played in the last hour of the day, as it signals the start of the hour of reflection.
When you hear the 24 note song “Taps”, it is proper to silence yourself and remove distractions. Take the moment, reflect and remember, those whom have sacrificed their life, defending our freedoms. Remind yourself to never forget those ultimate sacrifices that were made by total strangers.
These service men and women, upheld their oaths and obligations to our country, in the effort, to keep The United States of America, with freedom and liberty for all. May we never forget! WE remain the home of the FREE, because of sacrifices made which was paid for with the blood of the Patriot BRAVE, that choose to answer our nation’s call.
“Taps” is played in the honor of our fallen, as they will never be forgotten.
Please fly a flag in good condition to honor the fallen heroes of our country.
Memorial Day is May the 30th. Please fly your flags at half mast for the entire day, and return to full mast the next morning.
